I have checked all Tucson, sportage and civic but no one is equally as grande. Most important is fuel efficiency. Less maintenance than other. I bought third time Toyota Altis X grande. I’m satisfied 😊

Man civic has turbo charger that's why it was slow at the drag race due to a term called "turbo lag" and it needs some RPM to start the turbo but fot the case of grande it has "naturally aspirated" engine and it can give the power instantly that's why Grande won the drag and civic won the roll race.

Everyone saying its turbo lag i guess might be wrong as modern turbos have little to no turbo lag. Please change your fuel as turbo cars performance is propotional to ron. Another reason might be that transmission is not upto temperature thus the ecu might be limmiting power or thier is more slippage in the transmision by design. Corrolla cvt is far superior and better built then civic also n.a engines are mostly more reliable so in short no matter what reason i give toyota overall has a superior

Abay drag mein kn sa turbo lag hota hai? Roll mein turbo lag hota hai. Boost bnanay mein car ko time lagta hai. Menay bhi turbo rakhi hai bohat arsa. New generation civic rs ka 0-100 stock slow hai as compared to civic x(shehzadi)!!!

just want to say that this video is properly scripted, it was landed that first Corolla wins , then the process has been reversed and they have also played it by changing the driver. 0-100 of grande is 8.9 sec and turbo rs is 9.4 sec . But on roll it will go because turbo works at high speeed

I have few deductions from this race, either the RS was heat soaking as it is turbo charged or simply the grande has it's ecu unlocked / tuned. It is simply not possible for grande to beat this civic because it has less horsepower and torque altogether. Try to race his grande with another stock grande and exchange drivers to check if it is tuned or not. I have had a 2018 Grande and its pick was plenty fast, still would not match the RS.

I could follow along well enough. Turns out that was more fun than watching a economy car drag race. Despite the fact i own one of them. Actually its a hatchback with a 1.5T I will say it was a lot closer than expected. Look forward to not understanding most if you next video.

bhai mere pas honda rs 11 gen hai sath hi grande 1.8 hai at first grande ka koi muqabla nai at pick but at long run civic chor jati grande ko. drag mein turbo lag hota hai civic ka and it needs some rpm however grande is naturally aspriated and can put all the power in the wheels at once

Turbo doesn't work at low speed in the start. It needs some speed to boost the power. So, on paper and in actual in drag race, civic 1.5L vs grande 1.8L. There must be some race at speed of 70 kph to get results of turbo.

Well great review! I have both cars and for sure Toyota transmission is quite better than Honda, one more thing in this review toyota model is below 2020 (not X) while civic is 2023/24 so honda has quite better engine condition but still .......
