TheHKY09 Attila's poor Chuvash was intentional, as no-one knows what the Hunnic language was like, and the poor grammar is meant to represent the sound of a language that Chuvash vaguely fits, but one that is NOT Chuvash, and also to give a slight 'barbarian' feel. The only really bad voice actors, I'd say, are Casimir and Elizabeth.

There are several noticeable differences, to the point that other italians wouldn't be able to understand someone speaking strict veneto (I surely wouldn't). The lines in the game are spoken really slowly and are actually pretty similar to italian, though of course I don't know if that's just modern veneto or a reconstruction of what veneto sounded like when Dandolo was around. Anyways, in-game example: "Gavè svelà i vostri propoxiti masa presto, amigo mio!" (3:03) would be "Avete svelato ivelato i vostri propositi troppo presto, amico mio!" in modern italian:

If you want accuracy and due historical proportions, Paradox and Europa Universalis are that way (not saying this negatively, I love their games). As a civilization simulator, its focus is the progress of a civilization from ancient to modern times - NO MATTER WHICH is the civilization. That's the concept of the game, you want to argue that go rant with Sid Meier, not me! I even agreed with you sometimes! The tribes are a bit too simple to be called a civilization. The only problem was about Srivijaya which is clearly a civilization, a powerful Buddhist trading empire for well over 500 years joining India and East Africa to China via trade. You just don't remember it because Europe peaked well after they were gone 400 years ago and achieved incredible things but the game is not just about the last 400 years. The problem is that you're being anachronistic. You're judging the game based on present day history. Like a game of civilization, real history wasn't the same all the time. Thousands of years before, several empires were contending for power to various degrees of success. Civ is not just about representing nations in space in the current age. It's about representing nations in space AND time. And again, stop taking credit as Lithuania on the merits of other Civs. Like you did with Germany, you're trying to hop along on European world domination, but truth is you had very little with that. And that's another harsh truth.
