Pros: the shape, the overall look, the action, the internals. Cons: the materials. If this were S30v or better with a titanium frame and wood/bone/stag/sold cf handles that would move from an ok but over priced offering to a really nice knife. The JE style bite on closing is one to watch!

Interesting that this version is currently below £100 at HH but the plain one is £105. Makes no sense but at that price I decided this version was worth adding to the collection. I'll be very careful with that half stop. Nice overview.

That hollow grind is typical Civivi very sharp. Surprised there wasn't blood. I would have but stupid thinners. I like their 14C28N. I prefer straight G10 over a Carbon fiber piece on top of G10. I can understand you doing what you did for very little price difference. Enjoyed the video. Stay safe

The shape of the bolster on this one sort of reminds me of a Buck 112, which is one of my favorite knives to carry. I'm guessing that if I got my hands on one of these, I'd probably end up carrying it quite often! Cheers, my friend.

In outline, I like the look of this, but as you say, the pocket clip is , at best, meh! I’m passed my cf phase, but that’s fine, if that’s what floats your boat. What I really don’t like is ‘Damascus’ steel. I can live with Damacore type stuff, but I’d much prefer that they spent their money on S35vn, or even just S30. That half-stop is like the one on my JE Made… this is anything but a safety feature! Looks good though.

I watched this video and then bought this knife, you would think that would stop me from cutting myself……NOPE closed it to the half stop and cut my finger open!😂😭. Nice knife but that should have been noticed before releasing it surely? Someone at the company MUST have done the same thing?

Interesting it says read before using. Then bites you. Not sure that it is a down side that the half stop is where it is. Half closed. I was brought up, keep my fingers away from the cutting edge.

That seems to be a feature of most half-stops. Not really any safer than keeping your fingers out of the way. Loosing six mm of edge with an old fashioned kick wouldn't hurt anything, or an angled stop like the Luna or G Slip would be good too.

I bought the stone washed/ g10 one, agree over the top price for what you get, haven't got bitten but it's been close, can't see the point of the half stop If it bites you? Not a bad knife but could do with a couple of minor improvements❤🔪

Same thing happened to me as soon as I got this knife slammed on my finger. I never use this knife for that reason I expect for from a £120 knife

Do Knives and Tools charge postage on top of the displayed price? Right now the price there is about 75-85 for the 14c28n and g10 Also Hoo Knives is UK based and gonna be a Civivi and WE partner (as well as pumping out their own UK legal carries) so hopefully have decent price on there 👀
