I've got the standard version of the trailblazer and whilst I agree that it's not a bad knife the price does seem a little much for what you get. Another great review Alan thanks❤🔪

Thanks for the review. I wonder when third-stops went out of popular use and why. I find breaking the joint, then closing the knife means the blade never gets away from you, as it can with half-stops. I see some of the big KZfaq reviewers, who are perhaps more used to lock knives, giving a plus to a knife because it has a half-stop, which I suppose in their world is better than nothing. Maybe the influence is coming from there. Who knows, but there's quite a few slipjoints coming from China with bear trap closing. The Brother model with the Wharncliffe blade comes to mind.

Real Steel Luna has a stop like that, just before halfway on closing, as well as jimping on the kick before the blade to stop you accidentally cutting yourself. Weird that the Trailblazer seems to have a much less safe design at a higher price than the Luna. They both come from China and yet Real Steel looks to have much more competent designs in my opinion. No Civivi has been able to convince me to part with my money yet.

Hi there. I’m new to you channel and I’m looking to buy a knife that is legal to carry in the UK. I’m actually from Canada where knife laws are somewhat relaxed. However, my family is looking to do a tour of England next August. And, like yourself, I feel naked without a knife. My family is looking to do all the normal touristy things in England. What advice would you give me in regards to where I should and should not carry a knife? I’m probably gonna buy the UK legal Crkt pilar.

Would you consider this Damascus version of the trailblazer an upgrade to the standard 14C28N?

@@MrLosbandos Honestly, they likely perform about the same, if you like the way it looks go for the damascus but the s30v model is the only one with a superior steel
