The jumping mech in this one is the Guillotine. It is a sexy mech.

I’m just getting into BattleTech (Warhammer is too expensive lol), you’re the first person I’ve seen mention mould lines. Was a bit shocked when I saw them the first time and spent a night cleaning them and breaking out the sprue glue to smarten my first mechs up!

I'm glad that you found BattleTech. mould lines are an issue that every miniature faces to some degree, luckily the plastic minis aren't very bad, and for the most part they are pretty typical

The first mechs they put out have em, even with the latest restocks. The molds are just older and they have come a long way since the A Game of Armored Combat box. The latest mechs are much cleaner in terms of mould lines so not as much worry for those.

As a Mech itself, it isn't bad. I have just never liked the aesthetics of it. I know tat is a weird way to judge a Mech, but for some reason it is part of what makes me like or dislike a Mech.
