It's easy to see why Bill can appreciate Roush's new cat-back, but would you rock this exhaust on your Stang or keep goin' stock?
Here's what Bill thinks about this monster:
Right away, any enthusiast knows that stock doesn't give your Mustang any personality, and one of the best ways to make statement is with an aftermarket exhaust. So it's no surprise that compared to stock sound, this kit makes a significant impact on your pony.
Now you should know, this is one of the loudest exhausts that we've tested on the '18, but damn does it sound good.
Getting passed the sound deadening barrier of the 2018, Roush's new cat-back is raspy with an iconic high-pitched sound when you get on it, and the growl at idle you're going to get is hands down one of the most aggressive sounding beasts on today's market.
Looking at the construction, we've got corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, mandrel bends, and race-inspired styling. This is long-lasting quality. Exactly what I expect from the brand.
Speaking of the race-inspired style, this exhaust looks tight on the 2018 Fastback GT Mustang without the Factory Active Exhaust Option, and will be right at home for someone that wants an aggressive race-car feel.
As usual, the cat-back installation is very streamlined, and before you know it, you'll be back on the road in no time.
