Dude I love your updates. Please dump that ATO and get a simple LED ATO or another. Relying on conductivity is a gamble. Light won’t be a problem in a dark section of sump. Conductivity just is not working for you, super happier you averted disaster. Keep it up, you tank looks 10x mine so keep my comments in perspective, I don’t know crap, ‘cept these $100 LED ATO work well. Once every 6 months dunk in cleaner or just wipe. Peace

Tunze fail is pretty bad luck. Generally this wouldn’t be as much of an issue as it has an alarm that sounds if it stays on. However, vacation takes that out of the equation. Glad the tank survived

I'm watching your video currently so I might comments again, but I just wanted to note that I have been using the Duetto ATO (I have the Duetto 2 now) for 6 years with zero issues. Never flooded or failed on me. I only have the 2 now because I fried my first controller plugging in the wrong power supply. Customer service was fantastic and overnighted me a Duetto 2 and a new pump for a nice discounted price since I was outside my warranty. Maybe worth checking out out a backup.

CJ, The atk might be worse than the one you are currently using. Take a look at the new Tunze better sensor and pump.

With the apex ATO you will have the same issue with the sensors being out of water but registering under water. I have been running it for years now and every once in a long while it will catch me off guard. I clean the the low sensor and it works again for some time

So far so good… the default programming wasn’t tight enough. You can see extra lines of code I added and I’ve never had an issue as it relays on both atk sensors and my sumps fluid level sensor to control the water level. It’s basically full proof

My favorite part about the ATK is the float valve. Extra redundancy. Would love to see a full in depth video on kalk. I cant grasp the process of dosing it. With the RODI res, how much, etc.

It failed on… but was caught by apex fluid level sensor for my sump and was able to have my son unplug it

I went through two ATK auto top offs, complete garbage. The lower level sensor never ever works then it always tops off to the high sensor then annoys the shit out of me with the apex sending me alarms. I’m still using it right now, the lower level sensors always fail; however, I do like the controllability with it being a Neptune product. 2/10 for me

You using it standing alone? If so I could see that potentially happening but if you see my programming in the video I changed a lot of the defaults and run times. Mine stops as soon as lower level sensor is half covered. I believe it’s best used with the apex and not standing alone 👌🏾

I’ve been using it with the apex, it just doesn’t work how it’s supposed to. It worked well for 6 months, after that I got nothing but headaches because of the lower sensor and I swapped out the entire system, got the same results from both

@@halalpapi8176 yea you just need go add couple lines of code. Review mine… set off of lower sensor is closed instead of waiting high sensor is. Or even better include fluid level sensor like I do with my sump. The default coding leaves the opening for water to fill till it hits the 2.’d sensor.. once you program it the right way you will never have the issue again

I just updated the coding with what you just said. I’ll keep you updated on what happens. Still my low level sensor is showing that it’s open when it’s clearly underwater, it’s brand new, just doesn’t make any sense. But I really do appreciate your help brother

I think it's funny all your KZfaq's wanna buy Neptune tunes, Vortex MP 40 and all I ever hear is oh, something stuck something that bad happy. I have had no problems for years. 5 plus with Amazon purchase equipment.
