Yes and no. Even farmers will admit there are seasons where it's "6 weeks in the spring and 6 weeks in the fall" and that's the bulk of their work for the year. Edit update: still waiting to hear from all the opium farmers, oyster harvesters, just generally anyone NOT pulling a teat today!

No, here in Indiana they will change the crop of each field each year. So if a field has Corn this year, next year it will be Soy Beans. Better for the soil. But nah, none of this grows back. Always has to be re-plowed, fertalized and planted, harvested. Its actually insane how much work farmers put in for us. And they honestly don't make a lot of extra money anymore, it all gets tied up in debt for these machines (Combines, Tractors, PLanters, PLows, Harvester heads for different gains, etc etc)@@kwadwobadu7113

Мне посчастливилось поработать три сезона на CLAAS-880 Двигатель Мерседес, две турбины, 480 лошадей, централизованная смазка, в кабине как будто далеко пилит циркулярка. Кондиционер само собой. Камаз сельхоз вариант за три четыре минуты. Но жатка была порядковая.

@Danboi. Depletes the soil much less. Corn is a nitrogen hog and ruins your soil. If not harvesting for ears it's best to chop it down early.

Это не сахарный тростник, это заготовка силоса. Молодую кукурузу машина срезает, перемалывает на мелко нарезанные кусочки и потом накрывают плотными материалами без доступа кислорода. И получается на зиму корм. PS. Сахарный тростник вообще по другому выглядитэ

I was born in a farm. All my family were farmers, but my dad decided to try his luck in the city; so we ended up moving. I grew up in the city, but I was always playing in the surrounding farms; which were close to the beach. It was beautiful to have fun in the farms and go swimming. However, I have always respected the people that work the land and were tortured by the burning sun. I admire their tenacity and their strength because they weren’t the kind to complain. Instead, they were always grateful to GOD for blessing them with the land, their family, and their crops. I look at all these inventions today and I wish they could’ve had them in their days. Blessed are those that GOD grants them the wisdom to create these great inventions. Thank you for sharing and bringing back such beautiful memories. GOD bless you all!!! Amen!!! 👍🙏🏽🕊️🐏✝️

You see those spinning gears/discs? The spikes grab the corn and through Counter-/Clockwise rotation u got a guidance system towards the opening. If you look closely u see the outer disc spins clockwise, next counterclockwise, counterclock again (to keep the corn in the guidance system) and then clockwise to pull it into the machine :) It's exactly the opposite on the other side of the harvester I'm not an expert so I don't know any technical terms :D Only know how it works
