The truth is that season 1 is simply perfect: perfect casting, the beauty of Scotland, sets, costumes, and kilts everywhere. Jamie and Claire fall in love and we do the same with them; two extraordinary characters. Finally, season 1 is also the most faithful to the book. All of this and more make Outlander the best show I could watch.

The most beautiful scene imo is the one when Jamie took Claire to Craigh na Dun instead of Lallybroch. It meant so much for him to bring Claire to Lallybroch he was so excited when he told Claire about his home but he chose to bring her to Craigh na Dun, her home. His love language is so simple but yet touching. Ahhhhhh Jamie set the standard high 💘

Season 1 really set the bar high with the show. Wish they would go back to Scotland - I miss all the scenes and scenery there.

In a future season they will, as in the novels, they return to Scotland for a visit, so we may get Scotland for a few episodes again.

Yes, he definitely was but as Jamie said it he didn't consider himself a great catch cause there was a price over his head. No sane lass or her parents for that matter would agree to such a candidate. I'd say what a lucky "fucking bastard" Fraser was ;P. Probably wouldn't dream that one day Claire could (be forced to) say "I do" to him.

Male Scottish accent sounds so sexy, gentle with a little rudeness sound. Men should watch Outlander to pick up some good character of an ideal husband. Season 1 is just perfect. The start of romance, the beauty of Scotland, tradition and culture - wonderful. ❤️❤️

Amy, I totally agree with what you wrote and there should be classes showing excerpts of Jamie in Outlander and the class would be on how to become “The King of All Men” ! They could also watch and read about Sam Heughan to see how he lives his life doing so much for people. He is a beacon of kindness and do so much charity work. He’s so positive.

Tears, tears and yet I cry more. It's such a beautiful piece of music that brings together two wonderful people, Claire and Jamie. It's a beautiful montage of their love story thus far, so am looking forward to some "heat" from them in the next season.

Watched so many tv series all the famous ones at least. But outlander just gives me goosebumps every episode. Just the unwavering deep love between a husband and wife despite the tragedy they both had to endure, sadness, constant self sacrifice for each other and forgiveness. The theme that love truly is the most powerful force on earth. The epitome of how man and women express deep love for each other differently but conquers all

Escena 8: " de pie soldado" lloré como Jamie, es que lo que el hizo fue increíble, le dió a Claire la posibilidad de elegir, aún a costa de perderla, si eso no es el verdadero amor entonces que? Quien hace algo así, solo un alma noble, pero ella ya no podía regresar, ni siquiera con la certeza de un futuro seguro y Frank esperando. Ella ya no podía vivir sin Jamie.

Mother’s Grace! Outlander is a unique series! With great chemistry between the leads .The lush greenery and the Fantastic music (especially the theme music Skye Boat Song) that gives life to the entire series! What is disheartening is that the name of the Music Composer has not been mentioned! I wonder why? I hope the production team will quickly look into this matter..

We need to know that Jamie wouldn't be the man he is if it wasn't for Claire. He readily gave her a beating, he wouldn't have done that after they fell in love because Claire made him a better man

@@random_meta it doesn't change anything, it could be understandable if she was from his same time, but she is not, and a woman from the second half of the 20 century, who is also supposed to be quite modern for even her own time, would never put up with that behavior. The fact that it was "normal"( i repeat that i don't see ian or fergus doing that to jenny or marsali) back then, doesn't mean it was ok , and from a more modern perspective it makes no sense to forgive it.
