I'm a sucker for redemption stories, but with that comes the repeated possibility of seeing your favorite characters fall trying to do the right thing - and my god, they delivered it with Charlotte Richards, one of the most surprising and beautiful character arcs in Lucifer, and this song turned an amazingly heartbreaking moment into divinity.

I can handle Lucifer crumbling after Uriel's death. Sometimes I can handle Amenadiel laying his necklace on Caleb. I can even handle Lucifer telling Chloe she's his first love while at the same time leavig her to protect the world. But I cannot ever handle Charlotte's death. It just destroys me every time.

I've seen every single Lucifer episode, and the end of this one was easily one of the most emotional moments of the entire series. The only other one that really comes to mind as comparable was back in Season 2 Episode 13 when they played "Unsteady" by X Ambassadors...again a scene centered around Charlotte. I just saw this scene and I’m crying. So much. I called my sister and told her how much I loved her. She asked me what was wrong because I was crying so much. She stayed with me on the phone line and just talked to me until I calmed down. She stayed with me. That’s how much this scene made me emotional. OMG I love the emotions. Some tears definitely ran down my cheeks 😔 At least she went to heaven and that kinda soothes the pain 😔 This song is so emotional as well and I really hope in season 5 or 6 Charlotte to come back as an angel
