Micky Mouse fake Scottish tourist music, these military style bag pipes didn't appear until the 18th century, before that the traditional pipes were Uilleann pipes, a completely different sound and style of music and drums never existed in Scotland until the British Army introduced them. As for their costumes, pure braveheart fiction.

What happened? Did they replace the wedding guests with mannequins? One of the stiffs coughed as though he was offended by being exposed to what was, most likely, his own heritage (though I suppose he could have been a friend of the bride or groom from somewhere else.) So many of the guests looked as if they were just bearing having to listen to the noise. I hope that was the first and last wedding on which Clanadonia wasted it's extensive talent!

That would be painfully loud indoors. More of an outdoor volume, or auditorium.

lois barnett not sure of that. It could be they are of a different class system. How can you assume them to be “Colonizers?” Even the Vikings were “Colonizers.” Also, there were older people in there too. The decibel level must have been hard to endure. Better enjoyed outdoors IMO.
