If you see interviews from him at age 16 he already is more mature than plenty people age 30+ Sometimes it is about a coach/squad combination. Maybe it wasn't the right mix. doesn't mean he is a bad coach. Mourinho was always called/called himself the Special One and is now doing fk all... is he a bad coach?? doubt it really... but sometimes it just doesn't work.

Seedorf was one of my favourite players to watch while growing up. Always so calm on the ball, keeping it so close. Won the CL with different clubs as well.

It used to be much harder for teams to qualify and harder to reach the knockouts and harder knockout games hence so many quality players never winning it like R9 or only winning 1 like Zidane, both players mentioned should have at least 3 when you think of some of the players on around thar amount or more and also when you think of the many lucky players on 1 who don't deserve to be in the same list as Zidane etc...

Hard to not forget someone when giving names on the spot having limited time. It's pretty obvious that even though Vieri at his peak was a tremendous n.9, there would be numerous players that would take his spot in the attack, case in point: Baggio. Also Batistuta, Totti, Cantona and I'm sure I'm forgetting many more.

probably central is better maldini, with the possibility of playing freely and advancing. but Nesta, due to his physical height, is needed in the center and he had also partnered with both of them so having them both next to him is absolute perfection.
