Weber Clarinet Concertino in E-flat major, Op. 26
Carl María von Weber wrote his Clarinet Concertino in E flat major, Op. 26 (also catalogued as J. 109) in 1811. It was first premiered two years later, in 1813. Consisting of a single movement with three different moments (Adagio ma non troppo, andante, allegro), a standard rendition lasts around 10 minutes. The score calls for 1 flute, 2 oboes, 2 bassoons, 2 horns in C, 2 horns in E flat, solo clarinet, timpani, and strings.
