Outside of a couple well known deleted scenes (Clark as a baby at the hospital being the most known), are there any other real deleted scenes, much less an extended Director’s Cut?? I get the idea that Man of Steel was a lot like Wonder Woman in that the film as shot was pretty much final.

There are a lot of deleted "moments" I feel that Man of Steel had that maybe would have helped ease the controversy and mixed opinions about it. As a whole, I think MOS is a great movie, but every time I watch it, I always feel like it's a bit disjointed and a lot of that has to do with the way it's cut. For example, the climax where Superman kills Zod is immediately followed up by a fairly tonally jarring "I think he's kinda hot" scene and had they not cut around the aftermath of the Metropolis battle, the movie might have flowed a little better. The novel fills in a lot of the blanks as far deleted scenes go. There was a few minutes shaved off the graveyard scene at the end where Clark laments the destruction of Metropolis and Zod's death and Ma Kent basically reassures him that he did the best he could and that leads into her saying how proud Jonathan would be of him if he were still here.

Love Man of Steel, but the only thing I didn't love was the shaky cam, hand-held camera.

of course the final scene is cut up. i'm surprised there wasnt a dream sequence in there. oh but wait clark walks into a church and immediately has a flashback. oh snyder you hack

duurrr, dis book is relly smart so dtt means dis kid must be really smart. and yeah he's right, this scene does show why our "superman" is a passve agressive nutter.
