Igor Schmidlapp He does understand the character completely. He was building the character up to what we know. It takes more than one fucking movie for him to become the superman we all know and love. But because all you fucking cry babies kept moaning because you apparently find it to difficult to comprehend what Zack Snyder was trying to do. Warner Bros stepped in fired Snyder and tried to make a marvel movie.... And look how that turned out..... You would have got the superman you knew and love. You just had to be patient. But no.... you had to moan and bitch..... So you fucked it up and we got Frankenstein superman. Congratulations your a moron.

Yeah. I think like actors doing the whole “method” to really immerse themselves in the character, good filmmakers and film crews really do some world building, even for characters and places only seen for a few seconds, to add to the immersive effect of the film. Case in point being the Council’s costumes. We see them for a few seconds at most, many of them out of focus in long shots. I was happy just to get a closer look in this vid. But I like how there’s a reason for the colors and fabrics. It almost subconsciously makes your brain see it the same way.

The lore is immense. The trouble was not due to creating a cinematic universe for DC. The shame is within WB’s need to advance into catching up what MARVEL had achieved. What Snyder and co. Nailed is an aesthetic identity.

I'll always like and love the Richard Donner's version of Superman The Movie from 1978! But i'm so glad the Zack Snyder version of Man of Steel took the John Byrne's Man Of Steel comic book reboot from the mid 80's. And redid the Superman origins akin to how John Byrne envisioned the whole Superman lore and mythology from the comics. Comic book superheroes have endured because they've kind of been re-envisioned and rebooted with slight concept alterations and new ideas over the decades. Superman's lore has lasted this long because of slight reinvention over the years, Man Of Steel is different from Donner's Superman because thats the only way it would've worked as a brand new movie back in 2013. A greater appreciation for MOS will continue to grow in these far more cynical times in the years ahead i reckon!

First: Richard Donner's 1978 Superman The Movie If you 'Wiki' .. yeah I know how bad wiki can be, the whole Krypton planet scene was base on the element " krypton." the Neon lighting, the sets were metallic crystal of solid krypton gas. Superman christmass light space ship/ which was more of a deep space prob than a " space rock ship." Was base on the element "Krypton." All of this was very deep back in the 1970's. If you look at the way Krypton was shown in the Movie, the next logical step was to guest Kryptonian fish tank their children. Remember Star Trek, Spock said he was a "test tub" baby.

Wow. So much detail. So my understanding is that Kryptonians tried to harvest the core and to get more out of it..... More density equals more energy maybe... They terraformed in the hopes of making it more dense turning it unstable, creating a small and juvenile star like structure.

KRISS DRAGON superman is to close to a god, and yet he still gets killed over and over ( the real hero it always seems is batman) he's able beat people stronger- smarter-and Faster then him. I know that's because if a show ended in 30seconds it won't be a show but its interesting Batman can and both of them won't kill to stop people from being killed.

Real heroes sacrifice themselves if need be and put themselves in harm's way with little thought to their own safety in the defense of others. While both are iconic superheroes, Superman moreso than Batman has done this however Frost Factor. Given his powers, character definition and traits as a person in the DC universe. Batman primarily works as a crimefighter true, but Superman takes on threats and elements within his own stories and comics where he has always put fought the idea of bettering one's self to improve the human condition. Batman while a deeply rich character doesn't tap into those elements he's mainly a vigilante who combats crime in Gotham city. Superman however is such a fantasy driven character he's generally goes beyond the mere fighting crime staple of the superheroes. And has been the fascinating "what if" parable of an enhanced 'superhuman' who could be what the human race will one day evolve into eons from now. Superman and Batman are the 'yin & yang' of iconic superheroes, one bright and hopeful, while the other is dark and brooding. The complete opposite yet both represent the comic book icons who set the template for others to follow in.

Keep in mind, Superman gets his power from specifically *yellow* stars. Red stars drain him. Neutron stars are usually white or give off light wavelengths that are beyond what human eyes can see. So I'm not positive how exactly that would affect Supes.

Superman's family is "THE HOUSE OF EL" Superman's Kryptonian name- "KAL-EL" Notice the correlation? The Kryptonians could be regarded as "gods" in different cultures, human or otherwise.

Yo Flashback FilmMaking. Did the rumored deleted scene of; Jonathan and Martha rushing Baby; Kal-El/Clark to a local Doctor in Smallville soon after his ship crashed. Where tests were performed but the baby's screaming shattered windows and woke up local neighbors nearby. Has this ever been leaked out at all yet? Heard something like that was possibly shot supposedly for Man of Steel but was cut out? Any validation of this on your channel perhaps?!

Edwi Prabowo It would seem the industry after the success of the Nolan Batman trilogy has very dark take on super-hero flicks now especially Superman!!! and it may work for some characters but definitely “NOT” Superman!! as his formula from the beginning was the opposite to dark, colourful, bright, hopeful, I think when money people i.e producers and Hollywood shareholders start tampering with the chemistry formula of certain lure, they risk creating kaos!!! enter Man of steel & dawn of justice, neither of these movies hit the key notes or made the impressions they were supposed to, compared to what’s come before the 78 - 80 Superman movies and of course Smallville, so the answer to your question is go back to his roots, colourful and simple, that’s who people want to see as Supes, not some musclebound guy who’s basically the same as everyone else and who reacts in the same way!!!
@edweefication
@edweefication 6 жыл бұрын
matt kylie didn't superman returns had the same tone as Reeves' Superman? But it's not that succesfull 🤔🤔🤔 Personally i think MoS was decent (very comic book-style). It's the Zod-killing scene which really dissapointing (i really hoped they just throw him to Panthom Zone so Supes could face him again in future. Best villain in DCEU so far). But everything else was fine. Even i smiled when clark showed up at Daily Planet (looked so hopeful with that smile on his face). BvS, in the other hand, was mess. But mainly bcause WB needed to set up JL so bad, they forgot what elements worked on MoS (cinematography, detail, philosophy) and took the worst of MoS instead (gloomy tone, unneeded violence, and grumpy supes). I like MoS because i could feel his struggle as an alien in human world. I hate BvS because it was just a tool to set up JL and it didn't have any purpose besides it. I personally prefer MoS than Donner's movie, but who knows. I think Superman Returns could be amazing if only it's not a sequel but total reboot (the super-son thingy was stupid).

Edwi Prabowo Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the action in man of steel it was amazing, however that being said that’s kind of action is better suited to a transformers or possibly marvel flick!! and the reason I say this is because the “origin” story they constructed basically wasn’t strong enough otherwise!! so they incorporated the action to support the otherwise weak story board!! which again is what I’m saying!!! Superman is amazing and my favourite also, but when leaving the movie theatre I didn’t have the feel-good emotion I did and still have when rewatching Smallville or Superman the movie 1978!!! or even the animations!!! I guess like anything it’s not what ingredients you have, it’s what you do with them that ultimately matters, and then of course Superman returns!!! which they tried so very hard to incorporate someone who looked like Chris Reeve in order to construct an edition to add to what he did, great idea!!! however again you can use the amazing John Williams score but ultimately you cannot add to classic gold!!! it has its own unique place!! what the industry can do is use the same component ingredients but at the same time keep the project hopeful, heroic, lighthearted, not dark, Superman is not Batman and therefore shouldn’t be made to act or look like him in anyway, Superman stands alone even by the ways he saves bad guys, unlike any other hero, and I just feel the man of steel and dawn of justice Superman was to diluted and grounded, or if you like flawed!!! which took away the emphasis of him being completely unique, and then you had the awful score by hanz zimmer, again a cheap rip of from the Batman begins/dark knight movies, i just think the Industry is failing all the time because they ignored the amazing formula that Superman truly is and they’ve now risked destroying him based upon greed and money to change his special formula and have him act and do things which are beyond his character, and in doing so they’ve drown the true feel-good Superman that we all know and love and that the fans really want.
