I never noticed the significance of Art being the first to stand up before. Art is the first person to stand in solidarity with Clark because he believes Clark is owed a bonus, and what his boss did was disgraceful. Unexpectedly deep character moment for him.

I love that the Father in-law who gave Clark shit the entire movie, stood up and stared his boss down. Either he sympathized with Clark as a blue collar working man, or despite all the bitching, he truly views him as family and worthy of respect.

But right now, something deep down in my gut tells me that I shouldn't hate him at all. In fact, I really don't. I love him. I stand by my son-in-law. 6:54 Clark Sr.: I stand by my son. As much as I love Clark's rant in the first scene, one of the things I appreciated about the second scene where Clark confronts his boss is that while he doesn't mince words, he's speaking to him more respectfully than he was in his earlier rant to his family.
