+pastort1966 Nonsense! Excellent organ recordings were made decades before this was recorded. This poor sound is the result of incompetence, defective equipment, or both. Even her voice sounds distorted, and I assure you that people knew how to record the human voice clearly even "back then";. I strongly suspect that the original sounded much better and the degradation occurred during subsequent copying. The limitations of the time would have resulted in limited dynamic range and reduced signal-to-noise ratio, not the gross distortion heard here.
