I miss 12 so much!!! It was so sad how he said “time never forgets” as he saw Clara and Danny’s name. Also when he first showed up to save the group, that’s how he got his “dying well” speech at the end of the episode, oxygen.

I loved seeing the Doctor here, the 12th doctor was amazing and i always said since the beginning, when hes gone, you're going to miss him, honestly, i'll always remember when The Doctor was him, i didn't want him to go.

I’m SO glad you’re watching Class. So many people shit on it. I believe it has AMAZING potential. Series 1 of both Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures aren’t as strong as their second series onwards. Had Class got a second season I reckon we would’ve gotten SO much more from the characters and their stories

Class has it's moments but Quill is an amazing character, a series based solely around her I would watch the hell out of.

I absolutely adore class tbh! It was great to have in the year we had without Doctor Who. Quill is one of my all time favourite characters in the Who universe! I’d love to see her again on Doctor Who!

“I got a fix of Peter...” That episode came out during the hiatus in between the 2015 & 2016 Christmas specials, so you have no idea how accurate that statement is.

You can't not love Quill, she's brilliant. Katherine kelly is an amazing actress.

I'm one of the few who really enjoyed class. Not exactly the best show on the planet but every episode is very interesting and for me the characters are the highlight of the show

This was such a good show but the BBC did it so dirty. They gave it zero promotion and released two episodes on iPlayer before airing them on tv. They then decided to only get Katherine Kelly who plays Quill on ‘this morning’ (a show we have over here) to promote class on the week the series finale was airing. And then when they finally aired it on bbc, they put it on at like midnight, two episodes a time with no advertising or promotion. It was dreadful how they handled this program and they really let down the writer of this show. So great show but it was sabotaged by the BBC for some reason

I think I’m the only one that loves Class.

The BBC had absolutely no idea what to do with this show. It decided not to broadcast it terrestrially;and not surprisingly,it generated no obvious audience. A few months later it finally got a broadcast on BBC 1:but,owing to the nature of much of the content, relegated it to a graveyard slot. ....and that was that. I never watched beyond this first episode. It wasn't so much the tone that I found distracting;it was the fact that none of the highschool pupils looked younger than about 28! A friend informs me,though,that the spin-off novels were ok :)

Having Capaldi in this was so cruel.

After listening to the audio continuation of this I wonder if having Ace as a main character would've given this series a boost. Torchwood, SJA and Probe all had a character that the audience already knew and had investment in.

Oh Brilliant! This was so underrated - and a crying shame it got canned, especially since the first season was so much better, IMO, than the first season of Torchwood was. Ms Quill is brilliant - and I knew you'd love her. Best over-dramatic delivery of a line ever, ever.

Ram is my favourite character too. I got to meet Fady Elsayed and Greg Austin (Ram and Charlie) in January last year and I was able to tell them how much Class meant to me. Both of them are so sweet and kind and genuine and I hope to cross paths with them again soon but I still hope that Class might be renewed in the near future.

Coal Hill Academy (formerly School) is where The Doctor's granddaughter went to School. It has appeared numerous times over the years. It was also where Clara taught and Danny died. There are Easter eggs for Who all over it. The doctor is the caretaker of the school. ;)

Not sure if you noticed but the Roll of Honour board which honours former alumni who were dead or missing, presumed dead, also includes an entry for "Foreman, S." in the middle column for Susan who disappeared from school (An Unearthly Child)

Yey! So happy to see this! I think you'll be glad you watched all of it. I personally feel there's 2 weak episodes, but the rest a great, particularly the final 2. It deserved another series, and it probably only needed one more series.

I love Class. Quill and Charlie are some of my favourite characters ever.

When the telly show finishes you have the audio adventures. It might give you a taste for Big Finish in General. The Time War audios fit into the frame of the episodes you have seen. Rivers audios have her on adventures with classic doctors so might spoil things you haven't seen.

Aw, what a unexpected but awesome surprise! I think I lliked it a lot more than many (and the music was A+, loved it), and I'm glad you're giving it some attention. :D Personally it gives me a lot of Buffy vibes. Really, while I didn't love all of it, I think what really let this show down was marketing, which is a shame. Patrick Ness, the showrunner, is a writer I do like a lot (I *love* some of his books, and a few of them are becoming movies now), and of course there's a difference between writing books and writing scripts, but I do think he writes wonderful characters. And the teacher, Quill, definitely have some of the greatest lines. "Leave us, we are decorating!" is fantastic. Also PETER!! He was so great in this episode - and that wall with Clara and Danny on it... Tears. So many. Looking forward to seeing you watching more Class whenever that happens. :D

this came after series 9 of dr who bk in 2016, series 9 was 2015 then dr who was off for a year then class came on in 2016 to fill the year off then 2017 was series 10 so once he saw clara and danny pinks name on the board he does not know who clara is cause by this she made him forget her, so i think he only knows dannys name just on it D Pink, and jess take your time with class no rush at all., and it was GREAT to see u react to this it made my day :) i was waiting sooo long for u to react to this, and season 2 of class is audio only by BIG FINISH,

I loved Class, I was so sad to see it get canceled especially cuz the end hinted at sooooooooo much! I'm glad that we got a few stories of Class from Big Finish last year. I've not listened to them yet, but I have them.

I have loved DW Dec it has reminded me how much I love this show and the extended universe of it. Jess’s reactions to series 11 made me rewatch it all and I loved it more second viewing and now class I really liked this show pity it ended after 1 season. I really hope they could revisit it in series 12 of DW

Oh, I'm so glad you've gotten around to 'Class'. I was bitterly disappointed when it was cancelled. It was such a brilliant series and deserved better. Quill (the teacher) was a favourite of mine too. I liked that Charlie was gay, that Tanya was clever, that Ram was a hero and that April was kind. And I cried so much when Twelve appeared that I almost missed the nod to Clara (and Danny Pink) on the board of teachers. This aired in the year we had no new WHO and it was lovely.

I'm so excited for the rest of these reactions! Quill is such a strong character and I love the Buffy vibe of the show. The episodes only get stronger but unfortunately it's lack of popularity got it cancelled way too soon.

Class was under appreciated. I liked the characters, I liked the dynamics, I liked the writing and the special effects. Just didn't watch further than episode 5, I think. 5 or 6. So I don't know what the hell went wrong...

Im glad you enjoyed this I met the one with the prosthetic leg ram the one that girlfriend died and April the one sharing a heart with the shadow kin and the alien boy Charlie six times a friend met the whole cast bit jealous as I'd like to meet the rest aswell would love to see you react to this and torchwood as now Dr who is finished for a bit and you have caught up well before it starts again in 2020

Yo I didn't even know this existed... There was no talk of it at all in my sphere of information.

Class sort of has a similar feeling to me like the first season of Buffy (and a lot of shows, but that stood out). It's really all over the place and doesn't really settle into where it wants to go, except these days you don't get any second chances.

I really enjoyed Class and it really is a pity it wasn't given a second season. I really have no idea why the reception to it was so poor. I went into it like you - I had no idea what it was about or what it would be like, and, as a middle aged man, I'm totally not the demographic for it, but for some reason it really clicked with me.

First Torchwood, now Class. I was not expecting this joy. Such a sgame it only lasted one season.
