Yeah the motor inaudiablity is killing me 😂😂😂other than that it is very clean and quiet in terms of its noise cancelling from the track run sounds. Its hit or miss for sure . I think because of the lack of sounds they are the most boring form of sounds ive ever heard on a train. Worse than class 700s and 800s( 800s sound boring as shit too) The external design is actually okay actually. But the front ends are meh. Dont give the british feel. Overall the bland sounds and front ends make me not really favour aventras. Although 730s get a better rep from me as they sound better and look better. The class 730s suspension seems better too. Wish they had the alstom motors from the "coradia xtropalis" range of traction systems (a developed alstom traction system from the coradia junipers , but continued developing after the first set of motor systems continuing in europe) The aventras use a uk bombadier derivative motor and gearbox but they are just sound dampened to shit. That or even using the european version of yhe bombadier gearbox/motor set from some of their modern units. They sound so cool if youve ever watched videos on them. Japan have a plethora of modern traction that sound amazing.
