So glad you have another video, Mike. Thank you my friend. Love your take on things and more importantly what you believe in with in the realm of quality HIFI.

Is a clear step down versus TC's technicalities or we are talking about a notch?For exaple can i use them for mastering or i should buy the TC model?The funny thing is the MR has more Studio-type correct frequency response than TC that needs a bit of eq..

Hey man. Coming back from a deployment soon and wanted to know what a good dac upgrade would be. I have an ADI-2 right now and love all of its features, but just wanted a higher end option.
@HiFiInsider10 ай бұрын
many DACs to choose from but most are too features rich for me. I like it simple and sound musical. i don’t care about EQ or how great the dac measures. I am using a McIntosh D150. I tried the XI Audio Sagra dac and liked it a lot. the dCS Lina is excellent too but it’s crazy money.

Where is the composer vs mr video u mentioned 5 months ago 😂 is mr still your favorite?

Been busy working on my project Civic. :) MR is still my favorite and Composer is my go-to portable headphones.

Do you prefer the MR over the V2?
@HiFiInsider7 ай бұрын
initially no, but new MR is growing on me. The pitch black background in the music and subsonic bass on MR makes v2 sounds thin now. lol...

a good video but i couldnt imagine spending that much on a cable for anything let alone sound
@Mr1stcat10 ай бұрын
💯agree this is a total rip🤣
@astifcaulkinyeras10 ай бұрын
I agree with you. There are a few companies that sell cheap cables for Dianas, they don't have the custom fitted plugs though. I can't hear a sound difference.
@wreagfe7 ай бұрын
@@Mr1stcat This is not what OP said. He said "I", as in: this is my opinion. Saying it's a rip claims that some kind of objective value discrepancy or fraud is going on. That is not the case. What's happening is that you hijack someone else's opinion, take it for yourself, and try to elevate it to an objective status.

Which mini portable headphone amp (with Bluetooth) you can recommend for the MR so that I can listen with my Samsung S23 Ultra?

FiiO Q7 is one of the best portable amps

Are you a reviewer or a salesman? It's hard to tell the difference when you recommend that someone blow a couple of thousand dollars on a headphone cable.

Brother these are NOT for on the go LMFAO 🤣 they are open back 🤦♂️you need closed back headphones for on the go BUT I'll give you points for effort you make a good salesman someday 😆
@HiFiInsider10 ай бұрын
on the go does not necessarily mean walking around the streets. You can move from location to location such as traveling for work or on vacation and enjoy in hotel room.
@tonamg5310 ай бұрын
Who cares whether it’s close or open back if you’re listening in your hotel room 🤷🏻♂️ Otherwise, Airpods Pro all the way for when physically outside.

Disgusting! I loved Hi-fi insider but now though….Abyss makes shitty headphones that look terrible and sound terrible. The frequency response is all over the place, and they have the gall to charge $3000 plus for these. 😮 It also comes in a cheap bag that you could buy at any local grocery store. Terrible!! Oh! not forgetting Abyss snake oil ultra-expensive cables!!
