@@Elise.27 she doesn't say it directly and obviously she wants more than just sex but it is implied she also wanted sex: -When nicole tries to ask "are you sure" in relation to her saying that she didnt want to have sex with her she tries to change the topic. - She makes sure to point out that sex with her boyfriend doesn't feel good anymore on the same night - She goes "sorry i lied in the hallway" in the context of not saying she likes nicole in her message. It could be referencing this conversation (even though it doesnt seem like theyre in a hallway during that, if this is mentioning another conversation i dont remember lmk) - She also says "idk if thats rape or whatever but if it is sorry lol" in the context of changing in front of each other (if she didnt see her in a sexual way it doesn't make sense to not be sure if it is rape) And even if she wanted a wholesome sex free relationship (which i dont think suits her character anyways) the core of what nicole was wondering is why she would do that without an ulterior motive, and she did have an ulterior motive.

Happy people make good art too, bland happy stories with an ending you can see a mile away are just the same as bland sad stories with an ending you can see a mile away. Same with people, just because people who tend to have sadder lives are usually more knowledgable about things like the human condition due to experiencing more and being forced out of comfort doesn't deny people with happy lives the same knowledge. But I don't think Emily can see that because she's a kid and along with having a really negative mentality similar to Nicoles because of the amount of bullshit they go though that no kid should go through and on top of this she is clearly mentally ill, idk what she has but its clearly impairing her though process among other things Sorry for the paragraph btw lol.

They say it so naturally that I missed that at 34:30 Emily says I love you, and Nicole says she loves her too.... which makes the time at the end where Nicole hesitates to say it back even sadder. Small things like Nicole asking Jeska: "Isn't she great?" would be innocuous for normal people. But this is Nicole. NICOLE the selfish B thinks Emily is great. I understand why they can't give us a happy ending, but damn Emily and Nicole ftw.

Finally now I can cross off "guy *Jak*-ing it to Jak and Daxter" off my bingo card Edit: In all seriousness Jeffery is one of those kids that needed better adults and less bullies in his life. Anyone can say "oh if he wasnt bullied he'd be twice as annoying" but the truth is giving people grace and patience goes alot of ways to help them better socialize, the problem is kids like him lose no matter how hard they try to be personable to the point no one wants to give them a chance. And yeah some people really do fit the lost cause profile but thats relative from case to case. Idk, I just wish the girls would just ignore him full time instead of half the time going out of their way to talk down to him or embarass him (yes, I know he doesn't need help with the latter AND yes I know Jeffery isnt innocent either, in one ending he literally shoots up the school but it doesn't help that Nicole and the others were REALLY kicking the hornets nest with that one)

Emily’s insight about writers gave me a slap.
