I was drafted in 1968 and on a plane to Fort Dix NJ. I looked out the window of the plane and a full moon came out from behind the clouds. CCR's Bad Moon Rising started play in my head. Fortunately it was not prophetic.

Being 77 now, that time of Rock and Roll was all about the Boomers taking reins from the beats and leading forward. Never trust anyone over 30 has become passe and look where we are. As a hippie since that word existed, love one another has become commercialized.

How true Mr. Corbett. I was a few years younger then. My Uncle served in The U.S. Navy, Vietnam. I'm well over 30 and served my time in the U.S. Army, Eastern Europe during the breakup of the former Soviet satellite state of Yugoslavia. Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. Talk about a serious education in Life!
