Definitely my favourite of the ampworx series and I recon it’s still budget when compared to some of the competition, these have been on sale a few places too for even more of a bargain!

My thoughts exactly. If I tot up a preamp, a boost and an IR pedal, you're getting close to this price anyway, so I class it as budget friendly

Do you have access to a real 800 or a VST close to the real thing? Would be good to make a comparison to see how actually close it could be with correct dialing

I've not got access to an 800, but I've got a HX stomp that does one and a few other modelers that I could compare to if that'd be of any interest?

@@BudgetPedalChap that would be great. My only point of reference is some VSTs that do the 800, and my mooer ge300, so maybe a "series" of VERSUS would be something to consider with these types of emulation pedals?

Hey man. Does this do a JTM 45 Thing too or is it just 800 tones?

Just the 800 tones on this one, they do another model called the jims45 aimed at that. You can wind the gain back a bit on this one to get somewhere close though
