With extensive modification the Breaker Drive can be turned into a v3 Morning Glory. The way I went about it involved adding a mini toggle and milling two small daughter boards for added components. I can't say for certain as I've not tried the phase 95 but the mxr has a few mode settings on it, where this is just an individual phase tone with a few adjustments. It's obviously a bit bulkier than the mxr too, but it sounds great and is solid. I'd happily rely on it at a gig 👍

@BudgetPedalChap6 сағат бұрын
I can't say for certain, I've not tried the valeton. That being said, the gp100 send very similar to the Matribox and the gp200jr send very similar to the Matribox ii in terms of button layout and IO. In terms of sound quality, there isn't a vast difference between the Matribox I and ii, but the switching and ability to edit are where the II really shines. If you find the switching limited on the valeton, it might be worth considering upgrading. Hope this helps 👍

I've been watching a lot of review videos for this pedal, and I just don't understand why people keep saying things like "If I was in a pinch, I'd use it!" What? Who in the hell is going to even know what pedals you are using who is sitting in the crowd? Exactly nobody. Pretty much any pedals these days with half way decent reproductions are fine for almost any small to mid-sized show. Do WE know as musicians? Maybe, yeah. But everybody else? Not a chance.
@BudgetPedalChap2 күн бұрын
@@nigelholderby259 I can't speak for others, but for myself it's down to the feel more than it is the sound. I could feasibly gig modelling amps from 10 years ago, but I would play horribly because it wouldn't respond quite like a "real" amp, so maybe that's what the complaint could be here.
@SteveMavronis2 күн бұрын
I scored a mint 25th Fusion-III some time ago. My only complaint is the rear cavity panels which are too tight fitting. Removing them chipped the finish on some of the edges. But I expected that before buying from some owner reviews. I’m trying to match the paint trying nail polish. Thomann couldn’t give me a paint color code for automotive touch up paint. But I do like the 25th Tesla pickups and I did adjust the pole heights which ended up staggered like Fender SSS pickups. I’m still in love with mine and for regular Fusion-III replacement pickups I would have gone with the Tonerider HSS set.

The SDs are good, but a bit muddy in places (even with my wonky ears).
