This was absolutely incredible, just remarkable! If you put it into context: having our squad and manager ripped away from us in the previous Summer, being predicted for relegation, having a blinding start to the season, Pelle and Koeman player and manager of the month respectively, Tadic playing out of his mind after just joining the league, and then winning 8-0!!! 8-0!!! Wtf 😂 What a brilliant time to be a Saints fan this period will surely go down in history they'll be talking about it in 100 years. 7th that season with a 6-1 over Aston Villa as well quickest hat-trick. 6th the following season 3 points off champions league!! Never forget! 😇

Pelle was amazing was sad to see him go, We came 6th the same year Leicester won the premier league so it will always be remembered, we were outstanding hope to see Southampton climb up the table this season and show their true quality.

To be fair, Saints had cases where players would throw hissy fits and refuse to play at their best to force a sale. It certainly happened with the likes of van Dijk and Mane, at which point, what can you do? You either punish those players by leaving on the bench (still paying their wages of course), or you sell them before they sap the rest of the team's morale.
