I hope you will jion us on the Classic mini hill climb build as it will be from start to finish covering everything we do to the shell, Suspension & Engine.

Brilliant idea with the boot rubber, you see kids these days STUCK their heads in mobile phones or PLAYSTATIONS you’ll see this type of critical thinking gone in just 2 generations and it’s such an easy fix WELL DONE GUYS . Only now finding your vids so I’ll be keeping a lookout as I will be starting my own build soon with a huge twist thanks SCOOBS UK (Wales) .

Scoobs, Thanks, I would have preferred a better solution but with the boot painted the options are a bit limited lol. Cheers Dave

Alex, It did work it‘s not perfect but we used the best boot lid we had from another car so it shows how bad the QC is at the factory. Cheers Dave

Cars looking good Dave, hope to be back soon been very busy at home, my engine is with new market garage in stirling getting the bottom end all done and new pistons, 👍

does that dry deck mini fit to a opel ascona c 1.3L engine? I have the same problem from over heating normaly those engines are nice Im tired from coolant electrolisys and other problems so I wuld like to switch to a electric water pump and Improve my cooling system do you have any recomendation for good head gasket manufacturer? ore how make own head gasket out of bether materials?

Hi Dave !! Was looking for some advice I’m currently doing a heritage door step on my mini and the top half for the frame has pulled in 10mm the car is braced from rear window to front pillar and I’ve even taken the car off the jig and still no difference the bottom size is 875mm lip to lip and the is 865mm any advice would be great 😩
