This in theory should be the last component’s of the drive train assembly! A big weight off my back and another task off the list. No need for rosette welds In the couplings as im feeling really confident in just the way they are

@@klegraefe should do Iv ram welded shafts on my busa mini for years done in pretty much the same way you have done them buddy 👍🏻💪🏻🤘🏻👌🏻

Great stuff, I've got to do something similar with my BMW i3 conversion but luckily the i3 driveshafts are hollow so I got the mini ones turned down to fit inside.

@@MiniLifeCrisis Slowly because it is a real project done by a real person. Not a crappy YT "build"; which is throwing money and shiny parts to something that get used once and raffled off and/or magically disappears offscreen.

Fantastic stuff. Did you arc weld that? If so what size rods did you use?

i used an everlast and tig welded this, with a 3/32 tungsten rod, i think i was using a grey or blue rod, not sure actually lol, and 3/32 filler material at about 145 amps,
