The Classic Quarter is definitely a beautiful but brutal ultra marathon around the coast line of Cornwall in the UK. Your adventure on the Cornish coast path starts from the famous Lizard Point and takes you through some stunning locations including Porthleven, Penzance, The Minack Theatre and finishing at the iconic Land's End. Runners have to cover 44 miles of challenging and technical coast path with 6 miles of tarmac thrown in for good measure. If you haven't taken part in the Classic Quarter before, it is definitely an ultra marathon to go on your bucket list!

That looks epic mate. It is a similar route to our Northland Coast to Coast, lots of craggy scrambling up cliffs, heaps of gentle beach walk sections and an awesome finish at Wenderholm. Awesome mate looks stunning

Ran it this year, thoroughly recommend! Not during though, it’s brutal. I saw you at 6am in the car park Loyd, but it felt too early to say hello, and you were helping your friends prepare. And yes last years video helped a lot!

Run 4 Adventure I’ve even started my training, been doing some 20 miler trail runs. Maybe do a back 2 back 40 miler over two days before the end of the year. I quite fancy the Arc in 2022, a retirement present to myself for 30 years in the old bill !!

I so wanna do this.. have been stalking the sign up website for info recently.. but will need to see if the body will up its game for the training needed, as it doesn’t need much of excuse to break these days.. think it’ll have to be “have to do it before I’m 50” race.. why do all these great coastal paths have to 330 miles away from my flat trail training runs. 😢😂 I can’t see it on the website but what’s the usual plans for start line finish line? Do you park at the finish line and get a bus to the start kind of thing? Great video as usual guys.. and I’m blaming whatever happens to me on you Loyd 😂
