+Julio Gonzalez it's my pleasure. I'm hoping to be able to eventually go through the entire car so anyone can get a better idea of how to work on these, themselves. They aren't difficult, but there's a stigma about them where people believe they are totally different and can't be touched by anyone but Tesla techs.

Did you have to take the whole tub out or just the side clips in the frunk?

I just picked up a 2015 model s from copart with a dead battery (both 12v and traction). There's no coolant in the reservoir so this clip is incredibly helpful to take apart the front plastics.

Thanks for your videos!! Very helpful! BTW, maybe you can get a cheap action camera and velcro it to an old hat so you have both hands making your videos.

To get to the DCDC converter on a old 2014 car, is it easier to go through the wheel well or frunk?

+sharkcookie.ev If it's a 1st generation setup, it will be through the wheel well. If it's a second generation, it will be through the frunk. I don't know the cutoff dates, but I'd imagine most 2014 would be 2nd gen.

Thanks so much! I ended up just needing access to the 12 system and naturally the 12 Volt battery was the most convenient thing to reach.
