If the show stayed on course from the first season I think it would have rivaled Star Trek!

I thought this show could do no wrong when I was a kid. I really thought it was the most intelligent science fiction drama on television. Now I look back and laugh. I can only watch season one. The rest is so ridiculous.

I was 11 y/o when this show began in the early sixties. I had the biggest crush on Penny Robinson. I was heartbroken when the series ended. Very disappointed that there was no conclusion...it just ended.

The Dr. Smith character taught me who not to be as a man and a s a person. For this I thank Mr. Harris and Mr. Allen.

My mom went to school and was friends with Marta Christensen in Farmington hills mi. That made it extra special for us.

Some KZfaq videos that I’ve seen say that Erwin Allen always wanted the show to be taken seriously and that it was the studio executives that thought it was too scary for younger kids and that’s why the tone changed for the next two seasons.

"The Great Vegetable Rebellion" would probably have made a great Warner Brothers cartoon!

I always liked the Robot! Everyone should have a lost in space Robot!

I always wished that my Father was more like John Robinson.

What amazed me about this show was How did they fit so much equipment and supplies in the Jupiter2. And Lost In Space was my gateway drug into electronics with a video screen.

As a kid I never missed an episode of lost in space. My dads black and white zenith

My favorite episodes were "Trip Inside The Robot", "The Anti-Matter Man" and of course, "War Of The Robots"

Thanks for the video. My feelings about LOS are pretty much as your's are, it holds a special place and I recall it fondly. Always will.

Season One is no doubt the best of the three; it's a true shame Seasons Two and Three didn't live up to the promise of Season One but in hindsight everything's easy to analyse and make recommendations. Years later when I view the DVDs of this series with my now grown grandson the fact he and his friends enjoy the series almost as much as grandpa does. Thank you for creating what for me is a marvellous overview. I think the Anti-matter Man was one of the best - another favourite was a Season One classic "My Friend Mr Nobody". Much appreciation from Melbourne, Australia.
