Thank you so much! xD I think some songs would lose some of their impact if they would be made very long, but when it comes to songs in the kind of "Hollow" I will try to make them as long as possible. =) Maybe the next one will be 10min+, let's wait and see.^^

The music describes the word "hollow" PERFECTLY! It's one thing to wrap the emotions of a piece of music in words but it's another thing to do so the other way round...

Adrian, i know you're not going to see this, but i wanted to say that im a metal head at heart but your music is different. i know you hear that a lot. But you truely are a gift to all of us. When i listen to your music i can shut my eyes and let the tears flow down my face with out a care in the world. You and your music are both beautiful.

There's no things as comparing Adrians songs to any others songs. When I close my eyes and listen to his songs. My thoughts always drift off in different directions. Its never the same thoughts. Every song he make, tells its own story

Of all of the music you have composed that I have heard, this is my favorite. It is one of the handful of songs where it holds me with such a power, that I have to strain myself to break away from listening to do anything else, whether typing or reading. You are superbly talented, and there are many people who love what you do.

Dear Adrian von Ziegler, i want to thank you, because recently i was getting into serious depressions due to my grandfather struggling with prostate cancer, and my girlfriend getting diagnosed skin cancer with low chances, at the same time. When i was browsing my youtube feed a few days ago, i saw a video of you, 2hr celtic music, i already knew you, but totally forgot about it sadly. Now I am listening to your songs, especially the celtic, and pagan songs a lot, and it gives me really moments

It is hard to make a song within a perfect time limit, but it is always better to have someone wishing a song to be longer than wishing a song to be shorter. You almost never want anyone to say that "this song could have ended a long time ago." So in this case, I think you did it just right. Keep the listeners wanting more, but still satisfying their listening needs by providing enough music to provide the target atmosphere.

I hope you feel better real soon, Adrian. Until you do feel better I will keep listening to your music. Also if you have a bad stomach as I was taught very recently if you empty the tea out of tea bags and replace it with oregano and tie the tea bags closed and drink the "oregano tea" it will help cure your bad stomach.

Heh. That's what I'm here for. As pointed out in another comment section, the excerpts I post "make the music that much more intense". The way I see it, writing and composing are pretty similar arts, both centering around a story being told. I take the story I think is being told by the music, connect that to my own novel, and place an excerpt that I think fits the music. It's a win-win-win for me, Adrian, and the listener... Very well-said, Carina. To compose or to write or to draw is to let out your emotions... It's to open a window into your mind and see what is going on inside your soul. As a writer, and as a poet in particular, I know from experience that showcasing such a segment of your psyche takes guts. Thusly, kudos to all artists out there. It doesn't matter what kind! Clicked play & went to lie down. Instantly got right back up due to the watery sound, with 1 ear on my pillow it sounded like my liquid cooling system in my PC started to splutter. Then after realising & lying down again, the sounds started to feel like they were right outside my window. Panicking me and relaxing me in 1 song, good job :P Love the music!

What you said was more than just correct, however Adrian doesnt only make songs about sadness, he created plenty of "happy" songs for me, an example is the song "ONE" that you can find on his profile. But there is something that you must understand is that Adrian when he is making a sad song like this one for example it WAS because he was sad, he writes his life in his songs, he puts his passion in (= . And his celtic songs are happy just like Tom H. said!!! They make you want to dance :D.
