00:34 While the project name was indeed 최애의 아이들 (Plural form of the Japanese anime title Oshi no Ko, but in Korean) when they were first forming the group, their official band name since debut is simply QWER, used both in Korean and English.

YES! I'm so glad you guys are spreading the word of QWER! I recently discovered them from the TBH comeback and holy crap they are so talented. The fact that they all also are gamers and streamers make it even more otaku based. You can tell how much the react crew likes this kind of stuff just by the reaction 😂

The producer, Egg Kim, tried to form a K&J combined girl band, but it ended up with all K member band. Recently it seems like K and J music market getting close and close. Kpop has huge proportion in J music market. Hanni from Newjeans blowed Tokyo Dome with the cover song, Aoi Sangocho few days ago and there is a tv music show, J & K Pop Song Battle and Yoasobi is getting popularity in Korea. Some J independent musicians have their concert in K. I personally am very happy for this interchange and cooperation between J and K music industries.

Note that the group name QWER is also the name of each member of the group, Q is the drummer Chodan, W is the bassist Magenta, E is the guitarist Hina and R is the singer Siyeon. Note also that except Siyeon who was already an idol in Japan, all member are super famous youtubers/streamers in Korea and had already hundred of thousands (or even millions) of followers before the group was created.

Such a fantastic song. I think the lyrics are pretty perfect as well. I feel like you have to have a certain level of confidence to get that playing face going. Aside from Chodan they were all quite new to their instruments here.

its kinda wild Magenta (W) the bassist and Hina/Nyang Nyung Nyong Nyang (E) the guitarist haven't played the bass and guitar for even a year (although Hina does play the piano and at least tried to get into applied music programs for college).
