These hymns are slowly being replaced by "gospel rock" songs which for the most part contain less and less doctrinal and biblical truth in their lyrics. So glad I found this channel from India. God bless, and greetings from the Netherlands and Suriname!

What I understood from the bible it says "the first will become the last and vice versa". Probably this is among what it means and has happened in Europe. Sad to see the negative effect of capitalism on religion practising. Former British colonials are still quite strong today but a few generations to come hard to tell. May God have mercy

South Indian Church choirs sing these hymns very well. This is probably due to to the fact that they were educated in Christian (Catholic, Protestant, Methodist and Ecumenical) schools and colleges in India. These Christians are thoroughly modern, very cosmopolitan, yet humble. Most of them are doctors and engineers. This is a wedding at my old Church, the beautiful St. Marks Cathedral in the city of Bangalore in South India. Something so peaceful about it. This is a Protestant ecumenical choir from South India. This group called CLASSIC HYMNS...can be viewed on KZfaq. Many people are surprised that there are Christians in India!...The fact is that St. Thomas,one of the 12 disciples of Lord Jesus went to the subcontinent of India ..to.the present State of Kerala to be specific.....aka...God's Own Country as it is called..to preach the good news....but sadly, he was murdered outside the city of Madras in the present State of Tamil Nadu.. now called Chennai. Mount St. Thomas, on the outskirts of Chennai is named in his honor!.

Mainly each album (about 12-14 hymns in each).are done with prayerful preparation and planning with many months of practice .
