I am a 4th generation Christian in my family, I live in tamilnadu, India. We would sung this song every Wednesday morning assembly in my school, where they(students) come from every religion but sang this song as one, it brings back my memories of my school days. What an encouragement to us all to see such an assembly and know the effort they had to put forth just to gather and memorize these songs of faith. Father God give these your precious people showers of blessing. Protect them from the violent Hindus and Moslems that surround them. Transform the people who call themselves "government" from being persecutors of Christians to use the sword to protect the innocent and be a terror to the evil. Feed these your people and clothe them, meet their material necessities, protect them from diseases, from the harmful chemicals manufactured there, from the pollution of the rivers. Give them the ability to construct sewage treatment plants, water filtration, water distribution, and the water they need for irrigation to ease the toil of working for a living. In Jesus' name help these establish your Kingdom on earth, this work they have already begun. May you bless these to further the work of establishing your Kingdom on earth as you commanded us in the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20, your final words to your church.
