I've always enjoyed the way Ms. Loretta Devine delves in2 mature female characters - especially those who are family matriarchs! Ms. Wendy Raquel Robinson embraced vulnerability in acting out the brokenness of her character/Mom & daughter roles! Where did casting directors, et al find this beautiful, talented ingenue who portrayed granddaughter Kimberly? For that matter, the ENTIRE cast ? It was as if this production/vehicle was meant to inspire, impart wisdom & hope in all of we who are still on THIS side of The River Jordan!! An added bonus in the closing credits were the illuminating pictures of Grand beings with grandchildren and/or grandchildren figures. What a simply amazing vehicle/movie to unpack & go along 4 the journey during this Lenten Season & Women's Herstory Month 2022!!" This was an amazing movie I cried when the grandma died she was just like my Grandma I miss my Grandma so much she died last year. I use to sit at the table and talk to my Grandma all the time at her house. Especially after my mom had died. Things are very very different since my mom and grandma died. I talk to the Lord above to give me strength and guidance every day to go. It's not easy to loose the most 2 beautiful women in our life your mom and your Grandma.

I think of my grandma every time I watch this I can watch it over and over

Pretty good movie. Wonderful to see a movie without watered down Christian values!! I hated that it ended so typically with Grandma dying. The scene with her confronting the thugs was awesome! God is SO ABLE!! I pray people will give their lives to Christ!!!

I can't hold my tears. I live with my grandma since I was an infant.She was just like her. She passed away last year and the pain of losing her is immeasurable...Perhaps it will multiply over the years.....
