G'day, i'm the co-writer and director of Surrogate, thanks to everyone who enjoyed my film and commented. Regarding darkness it's likely the transfer to KZfaq, when it screened in cinemas the night scenes looked great and there is plenty of contrast in the grading to see all the images.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Great plot and the backstory was good enough to keep me guessing and interesting enough to support an emotional ending. The acting was perfect!! Really great actors too. The mom and daughter played great. Congratulations on making a bad ass movie. Please let me know what other works of art you have produced, I'd love to watch or listen to them Thank you for the awesome film. Most genuine writing and acting. ❤❤❤❤❤

if you are a mom innocent of accusations, you do not have to allow any social worker into your home. a one time check without incident is enough. and if your child tells you that they are being harassed at night or wherever You as a parent better believe them. keep watch over your children. they are very susceptable to the spirit world.

This movie reminds me so much of one missed call with naughty arse child but also of the american version of dark water and the Mom. If you've seen either of these movies and liked them, you'll appreciate this one!!! A mother's love is everything when it comes to protecting their child/ children!!!

The innocence and normality of the characters makes it very hard to watch.. im from NZ which neighbors Australia so it definitely hits home..

Not a full on scare, but it leads you step by tiny step, to the to the inevitable. One feels and understands what is happening. So sad and horrifying, but totally understandable. I really enjoyed this movie and if you are into psychological, supernatural horror movies that just might be real this is the movie for you. ❤😮😢
