Crawling on walls and having fun, Tim was a true original who created his own wild skate chapter in the 1990 Speed Wheels video. Geoff Rowley introduces a classic.

In the 70's, 80's and 90's skating was a culture, now its a sport.

I skated around with Tim Jackson back in the day. He was one of the nicest skaters in Dog town. Befriended me and elevated me to just one of the boys! They even gave me the nickname "Bagel" I'll never forget skating with him and Chris Cook, Jeff Halsey, Eric Dressin, Scott Oster and others. If there was ever a time in history I would go back to it would be high school and taking every moment I could to go down to Venice Beach.

So many skaters today grow up skating in parks and have never had to deal with coming up with a million and one tricks to do on a curb. It may not have been as flashy but the stuff guys like Natas and Gonz came up with just had far more creativity and to me is much more watchable than another 360 flip variation.
@jadond.39139 ай бұрын
Also way more inspiring when u live in rural south Florida and the painted curb on a bank is way closer than any of the parks

Either he wore the same clothes every day, or he filmed this all in one day. I assume it was the latter, and that's gnarly. This is everything that street skating is to me. So creative, and the way that he, along with every other skater with this style, adapts to everything they ride is just straight up beautiful.

i agree, but the thing about 360 flips, for me, is that the feeling of landing them just never gets old. i must add that i lose that trick every once in a while, usually when i get a new deck, then i have to find it again..this probably explains my partiality to it, cheers

too old to skateboard there's an interview somewhere that says he was really into drugs and had a bad life, after this he had a seizure from taking 14 Quaaludes or something like that and eventually ended up back in prison until he decided to turn his life around. He's got 3 kids now and a wife and still skates walls; there's some pics of him skating now on Google and stuff.
