story and lore are two of the most important aspects in the game, we can actually see that devs spend a lot of time on them, but only mentioned like.. 2/3 times in his video its funny because its accurately showing the majority of players. skipping story, treating the game as "just a gacha game", etc

My resin continuously being capped at 220/160 every week. I use the resin only for weekly, then claim the resin one from teapot. And that's it. I just have too many things to do, busy schedule due to day work at the office, so playing genshin is like a luxury to me. It's something that I do when I'm not too tired from work.

"Immersioner" is definitely me! I didn't expect to be included because I have a rather unique way of enjoying the game. Also, 100% agreed on "it's an RPG with a side element of gatcha", that's exactly how I feel as well.

I don't play the game, or more correctly, can't even play the game 'cause of how heavy it is. Yet I still somehow became a lore-hunter, who's now 97% invested into Genshin's stories, and would occasionally still enjoy seeing stories after stories slowly popping up and appearing with each update. Man, some aspects of the game might not be so good, but after riding this one hell of a rollercoaster of emotions for some time now (2 years or so), I gotta give it to the devs and story-writers: they're f*ckin' good at what they do, and I hope they'll keep up this good work.

I am xinyan main. I just used her in 12-1 and 12-2 this abyss cycle. by used I mean 6 stars not just passable.

Yea, many leak consumers being never satisfied with anything, and developing hate for content befofe it even officially releases is mind boggling to me.

I will try to describe my type of player: I mainly play Genshin because of the story. I completed every single quest, I also really enjoy the music and scenery. (Yea I also take photos some times). I am also f2p, but I don’t care about daily commissions (only do them if I need keys to unlock story/hangout quests), I also don’t care about 100%-completing every little event, area, domains etc. (except story events). After an update I play nearly every day for like 1-2 weeks, after that I only play 1 or 2 a week until the next update (I play HSR, HI3, ProSekai instead lol, I like cycle between those 4 depending on which one gets an update, and of course I play a lot of other games too, but not as „regularly“ as those). I don’t care about stats and combat (my builds are crap but I don’t care). I only pull for characters that I really really REALLY want, which happens like every 6 months or so. To sum it up: I just play what I have fun with, and are overall pretty relaxed with completing everything etc. And If I just don’t feel like it, I might as well just completely stop playing for a month or so (happens in HI3 a lot. I just pause for 2-3 months until I will eventually come back to it)

I want every character in the game and I want all of them to have a decent-to-good artifact set equipped and a unique weapon to them so that i dont have to do any moving equipment around when making team comps since the game doesnt have loadouts yet. I’m the kind of player that watches more content on KZfaq rather than actually playing the game and doesn’t care about spoilers since I’ll forget about it by time I get to that part in the game. I’m also the type that plays for a week maybe even a month straight and then doesn’t even touch the game for two months and cries when I realize I missed a cool event. I’m also a f2p…one day when I’m not broke. And a bit of a hoarder ish. I’m a hoarder in food ingredients but don’t have a huge collection due to my lack of playing. I usually pick up anything I come across.

Ohhhh I haven't got classified. I'm a handicapper! That can work when you play an easy-ish game like Genshin. My AR60 account has no characters at Level 90, but almost all of them is at least Ascension 4 for the passive. Able to make 10 parties (at Party Setup) without repeating a single one of them, and with no artifact sharing. Able to Abyss clear (mostly 33* though) with them parties. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of other handicappers out there! Like duo-party Abyss clearers, only 4-star weapon/character challenge, Abyss randomizers, off-meta builds (looking at you Cwack), etc.

i do EVERYTHING every world boss every week. every layline (not collecting, just killing the mobs, it's free loot) everyday day every day every exploration every weekday (except cards, i hate how it's played with gamepad) and every quest in every nation including 100% every map yes i need mental help i put in 10 bucks and now i have to play this game until i or it dies, because if i don't i waists than 10 bucks

I just want one of each. I've maxed my teapot, 100% the Interactive map, and working on the last few achievements that I need to complete that.

The thing that I complain about is the 3 stars, because those are basically useless... In other gacha games those can be use in something progressive, in here well.. enchantment ore exist and more easier to get

...I feel that with the Tartaglia-Qiqi story. My first ever 5star was also waiting til pity hit, just to add insult to injury, and I pulled for Zhongli (my favourite character at that time, didn´t know how broken he is yet) ... Aaaaand I got Qiqi. And I wouldn´t have been super-down, but I also didn´t know that Qiqi fucking sucks. "Best healer" my ass, healing is literally ALL she can do, no damage, next to no cryo application, just bad. And not even fun to me, while I like the character, her elemental skill is just awkward, I expected it to rotate around her from the description.

i was a Day 1 FGO player, i got into Genshin knowing *exactly* what was waiting for me. and just like FGO, Genshin's story is what's keeping me here, the gacha is secondary - until my favorite hat and cape-wearing motherfucker is up for grabs, then i have to resist the urge to whale 😅

Well, I guess I'm a hardcore; not exactly surprising, honestly. I've been playing since 1.0 back in October 2020, and have only missed two days of Dailies, and only because my PlayStation was in for repairs. I log in twice per day to be able to keep my Resin spent (since we get 180 Resin daily and can only hold 160!), and all my Expeditions are set for 12 Hrs (reduced to 9 by -25% Talents) to be able to reset them during my two log-ins. 😂

C2 Hutao in one 10 pulls are lucky ? Believe me, when you NEED to PULL EXACTLY 90 PULLS just to get a single 5* characters in every single banner you want (even though you pitty are rate on) and never win a single 50/50 from 1.0 until recently (3.6) for the first time in Nilou banner at pitty 89, now thats what i called Lucky.
