Claude-Bénigne Balbastre (1724-1799) was a French composer, organist, harpsichordist and fortepianist. He was one of the most famous musicians of his time.
The piece of this video, "La D’Héricourt", makes part of a set of 17 pieces for the harpsichord, called "Pièces de clavecin", written by Claude-Bénigne Balbastre in 1759.
