Dimash Kudaibergen, whose full name is Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen, is a renowned Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Dimash was born on May 24, 1994, in Aqtobe, Aqtobe Region, Kazakhstan¹. He was mostly brought up by his grandparents, as per the custom in Kazakhstan. He studied at K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe and Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. Dimash's career started in 2010¹. He gained fame in 2017 after competing on the Chinese television series "I Am A Singer". He is known for his wide vocal range, spanning seven octaves and seven semitones, from Si0 to Re8¹. He sings in multiple musical genres, including classical crossover, pop, folk, classical, world, operatic pop, and more¹.
He has performed songs in 16 languages, including Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, Japanese, Armenian, Arabic, and Cantonese¹. He has composed a large part of his repertoire, incorporating traditional Kazakh instruments into many of his productions¹.
Dimash cites Michael Jackson, Ermek Serkebayev, Céline Dion, Lara Fabian, and Luciano Pavarotti as his musical influences¹². He has stated on numerous occasions that as a singer, he aims to present Kazakhstan to the world and bring peace through music. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his talent. He was offered a position at the Astana Opera, but he decided to pursue a pop-music career. He is considered a cultural icon in China². Dimash is Muslim and grew up in a Muslim family¹. He was listed as one of the most influential Muslims in the world in the annual issue of "The Muslim 500" in 2022¹.

❗The pianist, Igor Krutoy, billionaire Russian businessman and maestro composer, at a friend's continued urging went to see him perform. He came out of semi retirement to compose for his voice and mentor him saying there was literally nothing out there for him to sing that would showcase his talent and abilities. If I didn't, who would ? He said in an interview, I was compelled by my integrity as an artist to do it. Years ago, he mentored the famed Lara Fabian, the 3 close friends today. Thank you for showcasing this amazing man, he deserves it !

Dimash has a whistle register and has sung a note in his whistle register that is a D8. That is one key off of the high end of a standard 88 key piano. Literally a note that doesn't exist on a regular piano. Mariah Carey's vocal range includes notes from G#2 to E7. According to the Guinness book of world records she does hold the record for the highest note, a D10 from when she was 21 years old. That is two notes higher than Dimash, as far as we know. Mariah's common range is five octaves and your Dimash's is seven. C1-D8

If you had reacted to the performance where he is in the burgundy velvet suit you would have had subtitles. That particular performance also happens to be, in my experience, the preferred performance by the majority of Dears. You can find versions of most all of his performances and music videos with subtitles if you are at all interested in the lyric content and how he interprets them when he sings.
