This full length art lesson will give you a detailed tutorial on how to make clay relief sculpture. This is my most recent high school clay lesson and my students did an amazing job with their clay tile art project! I will focus on additive and subtractive clay techniques as well as how to make clay look neat for a finished non-messy look. This clay relief sculpture tutorial has been used for students as young as 5th grade, would make a great middle school clay lesson or try it out at home to advance your sculpting skills!
