How To Make An Automatic Brick and Wood Farm.
A while ago I made a ‘how it’s made’ style video about how you can make a farm that automatically generates clay and wood in minecraft. A lot of people asked for a tutorial, so here it is.
You can also only make a part of the machine if you want rooted dirt or mud instead of clay.
It creates 1 wood and 4 clay for every 40 bonemeal put into the farm. The video doesn’t go over how to make an automatic bonemeal farm, but there are many other videos that do just that.

Great design and video Loxodude! I'm having problem with the moss generator part of the machine. Once the stone block is converted into moss and then into the azalea tree, the conveyor belt will not stop when the next stone. I've noticed that the stone block which is attached to the sticky piston has been converted into moss. I ended up using a wood block, which stops the conveyor belt while not being converted into moss. Also, is there an off button?

You can use the brake as an off button. The only problem is that when you turn it on, you should reactivate the conveyor belt by giving a block update to the observer that watches the wood blocks. It seems that your brake isn’t functioning properly though. Normally, it should retract and then immediately extract again. Are you sure that the repeaters are set to the right delay?

To turn it of remove the block infront of the piston wich is on a red stone clock wich is left of the moss genarator

No it isn’t for me, do you know which ‘part’ breaks (so I can help you fix it)? Also, are you on Java or bedrock? The machine doesn’t work on bedrock

Make sure you haven't accidentally placed sticky blocks beneath the conveyor belt on places where the slime blocks come.

Freakin' awesome design! Thanks for the tutorial! :) It's working...... mostly! As things break, I'm learning more about it. Sometimes the stone doesn't convert into moss and I'm still struggling to work out why. It's as though the bottom dispenser fires its bonemeal too early sometimes? For the time being I feel confident I have followed all the instructions correctly, I've double cheked the repeater delays, and if I manually fire the bottom bonemeal dispenser then everything continues as expected, but I'm still not sure why it's happening. Does anything come to mind that could assist me? Otherwise this is a marvellous piece of engineering!! :D

Haha I love the comment. Your problem is probably with the timing. Try putting in more items in the hopper clock (where you put 9 items). Also make sure you’ve placed the dirt and non sticky block at min 08:35. This is because there needs to be a path of full blocks to the stone block

@@loxodude9398 Thanks, I'll give that a go later tonight. Sometimes it seemed to convert the stone too early which made the timber in front of the former stone piece destroy the newly converted moss block, which later threw out the water bottle, so it was a real calamity of errors at times and was making my head explode. Then at some stage one of the piston timers for the moss conversion pushed itself further away and.. heavens. How on earth did you find the patience to even design this thing in the first place!?! Yes, I had accidentally destroyed the dirt and watermelon in front of the moss bonemeal dispenser during a mishap with a wandering trader and his llamas, but I had fixed that before I wrote my comment. I'm going to pretend the problems have to do with the fact there's already so much going on in my base which messes with the timing, so an extra piece of cobble in those hoppers just might make all the difference. Thanks! I'm very keen to see what else you come up with (or may have already come up with) that I can add to my base... :)

Yeah it’s definitely a complicated build that interacts a lot with each other. The upside is you get to learn a lot about redstone by trying to make it work 🙂 Anyways, thanks for the nice comments. I’m happy to help if you still encounter problems, take care!

@@loxodude9398 It sure is, it's got everything!! Well, adding two cobblestone mostly fixed things! There's still two odd things going on tho. 1 - Occasionally the Stone black converts to Moss waaaaaay too early (~3 blocks early?). I've not yet directly witnessed this happening yet, but it happens and suddenly a timber is on the slime which makes the water bottle pop out when it gets to that section. Easily replairable, but still not understood... Unless it has something to do with me walking over the conveyor in that area, which may explain why I've never witnessed it... 😮 It hasn't happened since I stopped jumping over that part of the conveyor. 👌 2 - every so often, my Azealia leaves catch fire, despite my lava being covered as per your video! Incidentally, did you know that when you put out the fire on a burning Azealia leaf block, it turns to timber? Minecraft just blows my mind! Anyways. I'll leave ya to it. 😊 I feel very fortunate that I've caught ya with low subscribers, can't imagine you'd have been able to help me out otherwise! I wish you all the best in growing your channel and making some more awesome shiz! ...uh oh, more weird stuff happened. That's okay. I'll play and learn. Thanks again.
