Been literally doing the same thing with my EG4 and ED6. Been using big microfibre towels to dry the car and tempted to dip my toes in with the dryer! haha trying my hand at full blown paint correction and restoration, a little bit longer learning to get it right and the methods but I'm going for touchless wash as much as possible.

You’re going to get ppl telling you how to wash a car so I might as well also haha You should foam the car before wetting it, and also foam from the bottom up. This maximises the dwell time of the foam, which softens up the grime which will then help remove contaminants when you pressure wash it after foam. Then you do the two bucket wash method.

You wash your car in white shoes and t-shirt, ballsy 😂 Also if you dont already have them get some of the plastic mesh disk things that sit in the bottom of your buckets. They separate any contaminates from the wash water. I have some from Bowdens

Before you switched to the lav mic sounded like your levels were too hot it sounded like you were constantly clipping, maybe our gain was that too high. The lav mic sounded way better because there was no clipping and having it really close to your mouth cut down on the echo a ton.

Wow. That’s a whole lotta water man for such a small car. I’m used to using ONR. Only requires 1 bucket of water and no hose. Only downside is you need about 5 clean microfiber towels.
