Mine is up and runing as well (I was not part of the initial ten). The plates are doing their job. I gave it a very gentle of spin at first, wasn't enough to initially charge the plates (if I understand the technology cirrectly) and the spin ran down. One good spin later and its going great.

I got one too. The motor is efficient as a clock. The cell was 3.74 volts i let it run for the day at work drop to 3.54 i disconnected it and now its back up to 3.71. The concept behind these cells is really neat that extra little bit of power can be usefull. Its got me thinking of ways to add stuff maybe a peltier device i think PMMG4HYBRID said they sweat when worked hard making them the cool side maybe.

Can someone please explain how this works exactly? Generates current out of humidity? how? Very interesting nonetheless, great work
@StrategyYouDidntKnow
@StrategyYouDidntKnow 5 жыл бұрын
There is multiple things going on. generates current out of electrochemical reaction mainly. There is magnetic doping and capacitive storage built within the electrolyte of the hybrid battery to some degree. Uses that current to turn the motor and harvest the energy further as both capacitive again and electromagnetic with the the rest of the machine. It's barely of mention, the other natural phenomenon with the earth's magnetic pull, heat and the design.

I agree that ppl need this tech... in particular the graphite power modules... focus on those... ppl need them to power anything they can think of... they would be great in a survival kit... theyre scalable... if i could afford it id build electric bikes motorcycles or cars with them... its a shame the world won't benefit from this tech... especially since IF it gains traction (because its not open source) itll disappear like everything else... and btw ... been subscribed to ur channel since 2016 (at least) n have been hoping this tech would come out for FTX's (field training exercises) or deployments where electrical power is shoddy at best... military folk could really use it

So. I don’t know if you’ll even read this or have any idea what I’m talking about. There was this documentary released sort of recently, a well-respected Air Force (I think?) guy had done all these freedom of information lawsuits regarding the US Government’s knowledge of UFOs - or not, he wanted definitive statements, etc. because I guess he got fed up. Like a bunch of us. and had gotten a bunch of them back. In the special features either of you buy the movie through iTunes, or I would guess also on its DVD are some unredacted documents relating to some questions the CIA / FBI had questions about the propulsion systems of some “theoretical” space ship, who knows. Anyway there was this guy in Canada who they went and deposed I guess, and he was the head of a research group at this Canadian university, and the FBI guys said this prof had working handheld devices that were powered only by the Earth’s magnetic field, and he had shown them all about the devices, etc. and he was willing to give them all his research. Of course the thing never went anywhere, and then the prof died and whatnot, but I bet a passionate person could go and hunt those documents down and did the university, and do a little hunt to determine the technological basis for such a thing. It totally changed my mind about the feasibility of this stuff.

I would love to get one of these bad boys, but for $199 for the manual alone is a little much for what I can afford. If it were $25 sure, $50 sure, $75 sure, even if it were $100 dollars I'd absolutely get one if I could also get a piece of that tech. This has been mind blowing to me and I'd love to see what the longevity of this type of cell really is over the years, but I simple cannot afford the cost. I completely understand that these things are pricey and I would never ask someone to loose money on something they have been perfecting for years, but at the same time I think that bringing down the cost through high volume (relatively) production and blasting out smaller (and slightly less expensive) versions initially is the easiest way to bring down overall cost for the future.

So, if i am understanding your shtick correctly, you are an electrical engineer and you are impassioned by the implementation of solid state fuel cells, but due to the relatively low output of said fuel cells, you've devised a simple way to wire them together in series and marry them with power scaling in your other devices, along with simple super capacitors and existing battery technology to overcome the low output of said fuel cells, thus taking advantage of their hundred, possibly thousand year lifespan? Im not trying to come across as sh*tty, im just very curious of your channel/you.
@jaymeselliot8181
@jaymeselliot8181 5 жыл бұрын
@RavenPrecept ahhh, okay. I understand the need for all the other contraptions: amplify and store energy as efficiently as possible. Im not surprised this technology isn't being explored in more detail by more people: oil is doing a great job of keeping people moving and wealthy, but i would like to see humanity pursue more advanced and efficient energy models for more reasons than just war...it seems war motivates people a lot--i wish more people were motivated by altruism and curiosity. Perhaps we could have explored the ocean more by now, or gone in to deep space in a permanent and sustainable way.
@jaymeselliot8181
@jaymeselliot8181 5 жыл бұрын
@RavenPrecept so pretty much we could make smoke detectors and traffic lights run indefinitely, among other things. it sounds small but i think if it were implemented on a large scale, the energy savings could be massive--also if the technology were refined and power output amplified the world could be dramatically changed. I understand what i say is not simple: battery designs are coming along, albeit very slowly, and i cant see fuel cells suddenly jumping to a KW level of output in the next few years. However a guy can hope.
