In addition to significant efforts to reduce emissions, certain industries, such as aviation, will need carbon removal in order to achieve net-zero. This session explores the role of carbon removal solutions, such as Direct Air Capture (DAC) in hard-to-abate sectors, and their potential to mitigate the environmental impact of aviation while enabling continued growth and innovation in the industry. As Direct Air Capture solutions will be the key technology for carbon storage, it may also serve as carbon source for the production of carbon-neutral eFuels.
