Cleaning a Farmer's DIRTY Smart Car! | The Detail Geek
This Smart car was used on the farm and was all kinds of greasy and dirty! Hopefully my pressure washer doesn't tear this Mercedes Smart car to shreds!

I had one of these for 10 years, absolutely an amazing car. Crazy small turning circle, easy to park, deceptively large inside, super comfortable seats - Ontario to BC three times, Ontario to PEI once, and absolutely no back issues. Lots of hauling room too, the passenger seat folded completely flat so you could stack stuff there and in the back - which could hold quite a bit of stuff too. I have pretty long legs and, at the time, it was the *only* sub $20k available where I could put the drivers seat all the way back and not be able to touch the pedals. Diesel was cheap, only about 20L to fill for 500km, and because it was only half a car insurance was cheap too. At 10 years old though it was starting to show its age and was costing a fair bit to maintain, but damn do I ever miss that car - a part of me regrets letting it go, it was so much fun to drive.

Did you also had the 1.0l Diesel? Google says 20l to 500km means 58.8mpg. Thats holy f*** good. Fiat 500 don‘t even get 50.

I absolutely love mine, I got one for my first car recently and I’m in love with it, my dad took it out to try it out the day I got it and is considering selling the extra car we have (he uses it when he goes out of town on business trips so he’s not putting a bunch of extra miles on his truck) and getting a smart car. I would really recommend this car to people, yeah you’re going to get looks and giggles but it really is a good car

In Finland we have mopedcars and mopeds. _Smaller_ than a Smart. That only goes max 50km/h. That you can legally start driving at 15 years old and can start getting the specific driving license when you turn 14. Oh and people driving proper cars are often very aggressive for moped cars for no reason. I meab you drive with your gaspedal n the floor and Bob will honk at you, tailgate you and call the cops on you for simply driving according to the driving laws.

I have a question guys! I just recently start doing detailing. When it comes to carpet or all purpose cleaner solution, i notice that my extractor sucks up way to much foam. Just yesterday I noticed that 75% of what it picked up was foam and the rest was dirty water. How do I fix this problem? Or is it the case that I’m adding too much solution and that’s why even when I agitate seats or carpets it foams up like crazy?

I've always been intrigued by the Smart car. Very stylish vehicle. They really abused it on the farm. But, as long as it still runs good, it now looks very clean and sharp. I enjoyed the detailing because I am Type A to a fault. When I went looking for a new car in 2013, I narrowed down my search to finally decide between a Smart, a Mini- Cooper, and a Fiat. I ended up with a metallic black Fiat 500 that I still love today. But, the Mini and the Smart continue to interest me a lot.

had to search for a new car recently, and we had our eyes on a SmartCar. got to test drive a few and man I loved the car. Small (since we lived closer to the city), surprisingly spacious, good gas mileage, and fun. It unfortunately didn’t work out so we got a Fiat 500 Sport instead. Nonetheless, SmartCars have a good place in my heart now! Loved watching this

One of the most fun cars I've ever owned. The Smart Fortwo may not be for everyone but if it IS your cup of tea you'll fall in love. I love mine and will drive it as long as possible. A little warning for those that don't know. The car's battery is located just under the passenger side floor panel. I'd suggest absolute care if one decides to use a sprayer on this portion of the interior floor. This was a fantastic and fun video to watch and the commentary was great 👍!

Except they require premium gas and synthetic oil. Back when they still made the petrol models, I did the math and the running costs of it weren't much cheaper than something like a Yaris or Fiesta. Both of which are far superior cars in just about every way. According to the EPA, they only get 33mpg city/41 hwy, which I have achieved in my Forte 5 GT if I drive sensibly, despite the latter having 2.8x the power, and being twice the size. And the turbo doesn't provide enough boost to require premium. There's a reason why the Fortwo never caught on.

@@MmntechCa here in holland we pay yearly roadtax. And that is depending on the weight of the car. Plus, ur fiesta from that erea is not doing 4,5L per one hundred km during city driving and less than 4L per 100km combined Im not a smart fan or anything but the idiotic gas consumption of american cars plus their more then double the polution specs i find pathatic. My Aygo does better then this Smart in terms of handling, fuell consumption (beter numbers on petrol comp to the smart diesel lol) and most of all reliability but still i prefer to see these smart cars above the oversized 1800kg examples from for instance the US
