Love love love this! Can you imagine as a mum with younger bubba how wonderful it would have been for someone to come and offer their time to help. What an amazing boost she would have felt. She actually had a really lovely home with great colours and quality bathroom/kitchen/furniture. I’m sure she will be given such a great mental boost to aid her recovery 💗💐🥳

It makes me so happy to see you helping her. I also had postpartum OCD after the birth of my first. I couldn’t manage household stuff at all. The thoughts you describe and the having to sleep with my child is so familiar. For any other mothers out there feeling this right now: you’re not alone, you’re not weird or crazy, you’re just having a really hard time. I know how hard it is to ask for help. But please do so! It’s the start of feeling better. You will get through it❤

Lots of people can get a bit lost when they find fame with KZfaq. You definitely have not lost it, you are so grounded and such a decent couple being able to do this with no judgement. I have a 5 year old and 10 month old and can only imagine the sheer elation that someone will offer to help! I found with baby one everyone wants to help. For baby two everyone disappears x

This was really good video. I just needed something good to see when I was boiling chicken. My son's favorite food. Then I remembered that my sister too helped to clean and redo my room. I remember how good feeling it was. How I wake up next morning and loved my life again. I was hardly working 24 years old single mom. It really helped me afterwards too. Helped stay clean and organized. ❤

With young baby, every mum needs immense help from family and friends all. Cleaning is almost impossible as the mother is up most of the night with the baby and if she does all chores at home, she won’t be able to attend the baby’s needs. In my culture, family from both mum’s and dad’s side is with the new parents. It’s a blessing to have your loved ones around to help you.

Thanks for helping her and encouraging her that she is a good mother. Postpartum depression is real and needs real professional help. Most women are afraid to ask for help because they are afraid that children's services will be called. But most doctors now will help or recommend help for Mothers going thru this horrible occurrence in their life. God bless you for helping her.

You and Matt are the BEST! It's easy to see that Matt wants to be right there with you helping to make all of these deserving people's lives better! It's so nice of you both to put forth such effort and with the lovliest of intentions. I had that post-partum depression and anxiety as well. I could see in my mind someone grabbing my son out of my arms and running away with him. I also saw flashes of the back door of the car opening when we would drive on the freeways and him flying out of the door in his car seat. Those were rough times! I hope your kindness gives her the boost she needs to get over this "hump" and that she can move on to easier, brighter days! ❤ to you and Matt, Emily!

I love how you guys are doing this ❤ I know how hard it is to clean with kids 😩 also i struggle with postpartum ocd its so hard!! I have found ways to cope ans thankfully have great support around me. Next time i promised my fiance i would go to hospital when ever i get these thoughts as its so dangerous! So scary i can honestly sympathies with this momma

Love this series. Love that it's about making people's day. Love that you talk about the background story of that family. The world should be like this, less shaming, more listening and understanding, and helping each other out. I'm currently going through anxiety after having my third baby 7 months ago. Obsessing over something terrible happening to him. It is very difficult to find motivation to do anything else inbetween the intrusive thoughts. I feel for this mama, it's so hard. You're so amazing for helping her out Emily. Bless your heart.

Love these videos. That mum must have felt a weight off her shoulders with what you both did to help her. Must have meant so much to her that someone cared and understood and could relate to how she felt. Thank you both for helping others. You are good people. I love this! She has a lovely home and I can relate to finding it hard to keep on track of things with a small child in the house. Without mental health issues, I work from home and still find myself chasing my tail and wondering when Ill find the time to do a proper clean sometimes xx

I had these intrusive thoughts too! The bridge exactly! We had to cross a river very often and I could really see the stroller falling and my baby boy strapped inside! I had many of these thoughts. I should have consulted but here in Japan mental health is not much discussed 😢

SO great. I love that is watching is weirdly making this possible!!! Well done you both and so great you were able to support this person at a really challenging point in their life. Cheering all around!! 🎉 ooh also, I really rate the B&Q microfibres cloths, I’ve found they have lasted YEARS and are much thicker and bigger than other brands - I just re bought earlier this week and swapped out my old one that are finally dead to be under the sink cloths but daily use for 3 years for my instead-of-a-dish-cloth and another as a floor spills cloth have survived so well… this is such niche knowledge but I feel this is the community for this piece of knowledge!!

Aw this made me a bit emotional. I really struggled post partum and i always thought it was post partum anxieties but you just described what that mum is going through, is exactly how i felt. One thing that helped me was a video that explained our intrusive thoughts are our brains way of scanning for danger, its doing its job and everything you think isnt you as a person, its your brains way of keeping you and those you love safe. There are some actual angels who walk this earth and you and matt are 2 of them!! What an amazing thing to do for this lady. ❤
