Hey Chet, Dougo and the gang, here's a little trick. It works for us Paramedic's, so get a small bottle of Vick's, anything more than 12 to 20 hours old that's dead, use vicks. A dab in each nostril tricks the brain into smelling the Vick's rather than smelling dead stuff! I just met a crew a couple weeks ago, a Paramedic an EMT, and a person doing ride alongside to get their EMT's license. Somehow this same thing came up, and they hadn't heard or used that yet, but they will on the next one! It's like when ya get a Migraine, ya take a wash cloth and wet it, then place it over your eyes. It tricks the brain, and the Migraine goes away! God Bless and stay safe!......

I purchased a new Sea Pro 248 Bay in Nov. of 2018 powered by a Suzuki DF 350 (2019 year model's). Summer of 2020 it spent 12 weeks in the shop due to lower unit failure. Suzuki finally made the repair (snails pace) and we used it about 5 more times. This was my 6th boat and the and the first and last to be powered by Suzuki. I sold it back in the summer to a fellow down in Florida. Hopefully, they have lots of Suzuki technicians down south because I think he will need them.

Chet, if you don't already have a cordless leaf blower, get one of the Milwaukee ones (to use the batteries you already have) and try blowing off most of the water from the trailer before hand drying. I use this method for my cars and motorcycles and it gets 90% of the job done.

We have all of our seed and fertilizer bought and most of that is already on the farm in storage. We started sourcing our chemical and seed back in July for 2022 . We decided to grow more wheat and beans instead of corn for next year. The good thing for our area is we can double crop beans after wheat to make up for the corn acres that we aren't growing. All the profit from 2021 is going towards 2022s inputs . The large farms like my family's are going to really be hurting if they don't get the inputs ordered soon. The supply chain excuse is crazy and is going to make the seed and fertilizer companies huge profits . Great video keep up the good work!

Check with your chemical supplier, or where you get the foam. Years ago I watched a creamery that had a lot of stainless steel. They cleaned it with a diluted solution containing caustic acid. Now, I don't know how the rest of the truck, or anything else around it will react to caustic, so you would have to do some in depth checking on how that works. I just know that they sprayed down the stainless, and rinsed it off with super hot water. No wiping required. Good luck guys.

I hate to tell you this, but if you look, that motor on the pontoon should have two mounting bolts that hold it to the boat. Keep a bucket nearby and as you undo the lines, stick them in their own bucket. Then unscrew the mounting bolts until the clamp is about 1/2" wider than the rolled lip of the mounting board. Then it should just lift off and you can put it in the back of a regular pickup truck.

Don’t take the boat back quite yet. Try this first. Four stroke outboards are notorious for ‘making oil’ if they are not warming up. Change the oil, (maybe once or twice to get most of the water out), then put on muffs or drop in lake and fire it up, just let it idle. Check and make sure it’s coming up to temperature. If not, change the thermostat. When four stroke outboards don’t warm up they make lots of condensation and that goes directly to the crankcase. If motor is warming up then there’s other problems of course. I’m a marine technician and we get several a year that ‘make oil’, news stats and good to go.

Doug says it’s warranted until 2024. And yes, we do 90% idling, so this is very interesting. We put 20-25 hours on it this past summer.
@fishin11
@fishin11 2 жыл бұрын
@@amysblessings on the video the boys were saying it’s a little distance to bring the boat back. Even with warranty it’s cheaper to change oil yourself (because the dealer will anyway) and just check to see ifs it’s warming up, if not, thermostats and it’s fixed. Or, as what we find ALOT, maybe just a speck of something sand, weed, etc. could be holding the thermostat open and not letting it close to warm up. With your men and their knowledge, it is simple to check & or change. We do work on Suzuki, GREAT motors.
@fishin11
@fishin11 2 жыл бұрын
@@kenmelrac have you ever removed a large Suzuki motor? We at the dealer do not want just the motor back, keep it on the boat. First you have to unhook everything, then we have to put on a stand, connect wire harnesses, fuel lines, battery lines etc to run. We do not get paid on warranty to connect a motor up like that. It’s time consuming, and how is the customer going to transport it, in the back of their truck laying down, getting all scratched up. Sorry, not trying to start ANYTHING here, just trying to get word out to everyone that anything bigger then something you need a lift for, anything more then about 25 horse power, please keep it on the boat.

Thanks Minnesota, we South Dakotan’s could always tell out of staters from our east entering our state in the 80s and 90s because they would not let up entering South Dakota and realize to late as they tested our ditches out that South Dakota USED to be very frugal when it came to salt usage if at all till normally spring…. Now our five year old vehicles drop chunks of metal all over the highway as they rust apart and our taxes skyrocketed as we dig Utah lower into the earth for their salt or where ever it comes from and now what ever the stuff we use now comes from…. All in the name of interstate commerce, stay home people wait till spring…. Eat deer, rabbits, stray cats, burn wood or used motor oil, you’ll survive without your daily chips and sodas….
