Excellent point, Leif. Very well put. And I would add that not only is the car's condition like a metaphor for how GM treated Pontiac, but also how GM treated their customers. If a customer needed something from GM that wasn't in GM's best interest (e.g. covering rental car costs when one of their warehouses was on strike), the customer got the corporate yawn 'n' shrug from GM. "Your problem, not ours." This from a company worth billions.

Freaking amazing! Hats off to the God of car cleaning! On a side note I finally pulled the trigger on the McC steamer. I couldn’t be more pleased. Bought a 2002 Toyota Corolla, gravel road driven, hadn’t been cleaned for 14 years, 142k original miles, for $400 US. Car was thrashed inside and out. After two days of DG love techniques car looked showroom new. Sent pics to the previous owner, and he didn’t recognize the car. Steamer was a game changer! Wish I could share the pics! It seems like people usually get rid of all the mice and bugs before they take it in cos they can't have mice escaping into his garage starting a nest. The one or two bugs he did find i imagine he just picked them off the car with some tissue and threw it in the bin, and that's the best way to deal with any hanging about always use tissue cos you dunno what they've been rolling in.

Then he would be more into auto mechanics/restoration vs auto detailing if he did that. Then he would get hooked into, "hey, while you're under there change the oil, and check the brakes, and etc. etc. would ya?" That would be my wild guess. Then he would have to get licensed and even more things and insured to the hilt. But, maybe it's something later if he wanted to hire a whole crew and staff. And I don't think the owner replaced the engine before driving the mouse poo to you. And what was done to ensure the mice and roaches weren't in there anymore so they didn't get into your home? And why did the mice not chew on the seats?

Hi Mitch. How careful do you have to be around the speakers in the door panels with the steamer to make sure it doesn't damage them ?🤔
@Thebatcavepetfriendlybakery
@Thebatcavepetfriendlybakery Жыл бұрын
Really careful, the water can damage them especially if left. Never steam without drying it directly after!!! He cuts out the part where he takes a dryer to them in these videos bc its not satisfying and is kinda boring, but in a video talking about his full process, he does dry the speakers directly after steaming

I've been watching your videos and I'm impressed with the quality of work you do. One question! What do you do with the engine? Have you ever worked on Engine Cleaning? If yes, what kind of liquids and adhesives do you use to make sure you don't damage the electrical equipment? Do you have a video as well for the process? Thanks and keep the good work.

I work at a movie theater, so I’m coming home at usually around one or two in the morning most nights. Naturally, if I go to sleep immediately, I end up waking up in cold sweats having nightmares about popcorn and drink machines. These videos are a tremendous help in winding my mind down before I try to sleep. The cut the popcorn nightmares down by probably 80%. Thank you so much for these videos, and I’m just now realizing I probably need to start reading books again.

I bet even the Detail Geek looked at that one and had a nanosecond of doubt, but yet again, another amazing transformation. Shame we can't have before and after smell-o-vision too, bet that was one of the biggest improvements with all those mouse droppings! Great job.
