In regards to your shells landing low compared to your aim point.........BFK on his stream had the same issue. He was in a Vermont shooting a broadside BB at medium range and the shells fell short despite the aim cursor's position. It's not just you. Someone call Flamu and have him investigate xD I really like Ragnar. Awesome video!

Great stuff thanks Kiro. Generally finding Ragnar strong, but the trick is definitely to survive the fire from the team-mates of the DD you're hunting.

I'm amazed at how you handled this chat-wise. I would have gone ballistic seeing a lemming train of 6v4 throw their ships away like that and actually end up losing that flank. Your zen is admirable.

Great video. I only found your channel only some time ago, and it's a hidden gem where you explain all your decision-making in matches and help the viewer to get better at playing the game. Still one question (didn't find a video name on that topic), do you also have a specific video guide about how to correctly use AP shells on a DD? I sometimes struggle to make the right decision. Should I use it against slightly angled DDs and hope for a pen? Should I use it only on BB superstructures? Which broadsides can I pen at closer ranges? And so on.

One thing I have done is used Radio Location. I have found it Extremely useful. Say I have a BB spotted, but the RDF is pointing in another direction tells me a good chance another DD is sneaking up, and thinking Evil thoughts. Much better than concealment. with the Ragnar I just assume I'm gonna be spotted, going in.

I had similar situation on Thursday, map was tears of the cruisers. They all lemmings train on one side and I was on other side ... The only difference was I was in Slava. Got 2500 base exp and whole enemy team broadside to me. .

The Ragnar is a Beast. Good game, thought I was the only one in ranked who's team all go the other way. I cannot figure how that Gearing was spotted at range, unless he wasn't running any concealment of any kind?? Most of my encounters vs Ragnars have ended badly, quickly. Other than running or hoping for cruiser support (good luck), I see no counter to it with my usual group of ranked DD's (Gearing, Shima, Z52, Halland). It's a DD assassin. I can see I need to get the Ragnar in order to figure it out.

Great vid, as usual. What are your thoughts on IFHE on the Ragnar? I've seen some people recommend it for BB farming, as it gets you past 32mm HE pen.

I have not done well in Ranked with Ragnar. Smaland has worked better for me - the torps are really useful when trying to slow down a push.

How would you configure her for Clan battles? She was such a beast in KOTS this year, especially when she was teamed with a Vampire II. That combo was incredibly strong.

How do you compare it to other DDs. Is it OP, good, average? IMO you are one of the best dd players in the world, I want to hear more thoughts on where it fits it for you as a DD. Terrible team. I was surprised you did'nt take more damage from the Gearing as well. Poor aim on their part? Although last time i played, i did notice some shell landing peculiarities too. You really could'nt have carried any harder, and for a loss, it was still very enjoyable to watch. Bom jogo :)
